Their enthusiasm was infectious and they took great care of us. Loved Hoi An as we had time to spend with our daughter. The war remnants museum in Hanoi was emotional. The day going from Halong Bay was not well thought out. Three hour drive to Hanoi airport (short stop at workshop) then hours at the airport. Hotel at Ho Chi Min was very dark, making it difficult for my wife to access room and find things in room.

Signature Journeys13We both enjoyed the range of experiences in Hanoi and Hoi an. And the many and varied transport options. My wife was dreading the overnight train but really enjoyed it. A little more information in pre trip info about the very clean toilets etc would have been reassuring from the outset. Hoi an was also very busy as it coincided with Reunification and May day celebrations. The Mekong delta involved a very early flight, long bus travel and a full day. There was little recovery for another very full day to Ho Chi Min city which was also a very full day.
