After a night in the capital, fly to Santa Cruz to wander the lush highlands and spot giant tortoises in the wild. Continue to Isabela for wildlife-rich excursions around Tintoreras, with chances to see penguins, marine iguanas and sea lions, plus time for snorkelling in clear waters. Return to Santa Cruz before flying back to Quito to uncover its colonial heart, grand plazas and sweeping hilltop views. A memorable mix of wildlife encounters, island scenery and Andean culture awaits.Worldwide Touring7Visiting Santa Cruz and Isabela was amazing. Our land guides Ericka and Sebastian were outstanding due to their enthusiasm and knowledge. The snorkelling portion on Isabela was good but felt like an afterthought. The guide was not the same standard as Ericka and Sebastian. I strongly recommend 2 nights on Isabela (for a second snorkelling trip away from all the other boats) and one less night in Quito. 4 nights on the Galápagos Islands would have been perfect for us. I also recommend having the Quito guide give a printout of the program, lunch and dinner locations.
