Iceland Travel Advice for New Zealand Travellers
The safety of our travellers is of utmost importance and we keep informed of the latest travel updates on Iceland. We recommend that you check the latest travel advice from Safe Travel New Zealand when planning your trip.
Flying to Iceland from New Zealand:
Iceland is roughly a 30 hour flight from New Zealand with two stops made en route. Reykjavik is the main hub for international transportation to Iceland and where our tours start and end. From Auckland, Air New Zealand via the States and London is one of the most convenient routes. As connection times can vary widely you may wish to consider stopping over in London for a few nights and picking up a cheap flight to Reykjavik with WOW Air or easyJet. These budget airlines offer great airfares when booked in advance and are best booked directly via their websites.
