Day 1 - Mumbai
Arrive in Mumbai, where our representative will meet you at the airport and arrange your transfer to the hotel for check-in. We handle the arrival formalities so you can settle in with ease.After you’ve freshened up, you can relax at the hotel or head out at your own pace for a first look at the city – Mumbai’s blend of colonial-era architecture, bustling markets and a striking modern skyline sets the tone for the days ahead. Overnight in Mumbai.
Day 2 - Mumbai
After breakfast, we take a boat from the Gateway of India across the Arabian Sea to the UNESCO–listed Elephanta Caves – a complex of rock–cut temples with intricate sculptures dedicated to Lord Shiva, dating from the 5th to 8th centuries. We explore the caves before returning to Mumbai by boat.Back in the city, we begin a tour at the Gateway of India, then continue along Marine Drive – the Queen’s Necklace – and stop at Dhobi Ghat to see the open–air laundry at work. We drive through lively streets and visit Crawford Market to soak up its bustle and spice aromas – you can browse the stalls and try local delicacies if you wish. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 - Mumbai - Mahabaleshwar
After a leisurely breakfast we depart Mumbai for Mahabaleshwar – about 250 km and roughly five hours by road. The drive climbs into the Western Ghats, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with winding roads and village landscapes en route. On arrival we check you into the hotel, and the rest of the day is free to relax. If you wish, you can take a gentle stroll around town to see its colonial-era buildings, temples and lively market streets, and pause at local cafés and souvenir shops. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 - Mahabaleshwar
After breakfast, we set out to explore Mahabaleshwar’s classic viewpoints, travelling by road with short walks to each lookout. We begin at Wilson Point, the highest spot in the area, for wide views over the surrounding hills. We continue to Arthur’s Seat – named for Arthur Malet – to gaze across the Savitri River valley, then on to Kate’s Point for striking vistas of the Krishna Valley and Dhom Dam.We take a gentle boat ride on Venna Lake, edged by lush greenery, before visiting Elephant’s Head Point to see its distinctive rock formation and Lingmala Waterfalls for views of the cascades. You can also sample Mahabaleshwar’s famous strawberries and simple treats such as jams, shakes and desserts from local stalls. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 - Mahabaleshwar - Mumbai
After a relaxed breakfast in Mahabaleshwar, we check out and drive the 250 km – around five hours – back to Mumbai. On arrival in the city, we drop you at your hotel or at the airport, bringing your journey to a close.
