Day 1 - Porto
On arrival at Porto Airport, you will be greeted by an English-speaking driver at the exit of the arrivals hall, who will transfer you to your city-centre hotel. After check-in, you may choose to rest and enjoy the hotel’s facilities if you feel tired from your journey. Alternatively, if you’re eager to begin exploring, take a leisurely stroll through Porto’s charming streets and immerse yourself in the city’s distinctive culture. Overnight in Porto.
Day 2 - Porto
After breakfast at your hotel, we set off on a half-day tour of Porto, the vibrant capital of Portugal's northern region. We begin in the heart of Porto's Historic City Centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can wander narrow, cobbled streets lined with colourful buildings that reflect the city's rich history. Admire the varied architecture, from medieval to baroque, and soak up the lively atmosphere. Next, we visit Porto S?, the city's cathedral, an imposing hilltop structure blending Romanesque, Gothic and Baroque styles. While we explore the exterior, take time to appreciate the detailed fa?ade and the striking rose window. The tour concludes at São Bento Train Station, renowned for its grand hall adorned with over 20,000 decorative tiles that depict scenes from Portuguese history. We then return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Porto.
Day 3 - Porto
After breakfast at the hotel, you have a full day to enjoy Porto at your own pace. Explore the city centre, where Santa Catarina Street offers a lively pedestrian zone ideal for shopping and people-watching. Alternatively, visit the historic Ribeira District and savour a leisurely lunch at one of the riverside restaurants. Complement your meal with a local wine, such as a crisp Vinho Verde or a rich Douro red, to complete the experience. Overnight in Porto.
Day 4 - Porto
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be collected from the reception at the arranged time and transferred to Porto Airport for your onward journey.
