When we couldn't visit one of the sights, Hameed gave us another option which was a highlight of the trip - Aqubah with a very nice boat ride! Hameed is the best!!!

Signature Journeys6Hameed was a delight. As well as organising us well, his knowledge of Petra was incredible and made this a highlight of the trip. Wadi Rum was also amazing. Other than the shopping stop to buy jackets (very helpful), there were too many shopping stops. We spent more time shopping than in the churches.

Signature Journeys6Tour guide's local knowledge of Petra was good as we tried to avoid going to Petra when there was a risk of rain, which would cause flash flooding. The Holiday-Inn at Dead Sea was great as it had a private beach access to the Dead Sea with shower facilities. We were overcharged for takeaway lunch by our bus driver charging us JD15 when it should have been JD3 at most. Our tour guide also tried to scam us by accepting JD456 for local payment when it should have only been JD304, and would not tell me in advance what the correct amount was.

Signature Journeys6Having more than a day in Petra so if weather is bad, can do a quick trip on the following morning. Dead Sea with private beach at the hotel was fantastic. Arrival and departure transport along with visa arrangement were very convenient. Tour guide took us to his cousin's house for dinner and charged each of us JD 15 which was overpriced. Bus driver bought takeaway lunch for us and overcharged us JD 5 each when it should have been only JD 1.50 at most.

Signature Journeys6We were treated so well. Both our guides went above and beyond to make the trip so memorable. For me the pyramids were amazing. I also loved Petra. We did the light show one night. So special. We went to the new Grand Museum on our own. Now that it’s open it should be on the tour. It was the right amount of variety to make it all enjoyable.
