Day 1 - Split
Upon arrival at Split Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred privately to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and settle in at your own pace. Overnight in Split.
Day 2 - Split
After breakfast, enjoy some free time before joining an afternoon guided tour of Split. The city, located on a peninsula, is surrounded by historic towns and settlements. Meet your guide at the arranged location, or you may opt to book a transfer from your hotel to the meeting point. We will explore the 4th-century Diocletian’s Palace, including its ancient cellars, the Peristyle, Roman temples now serving as Christian sites, the Cathedral and Baptistry, and finish at the renowned Golden Gate. Overnight in Split.
Day 3 - Split
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day at your leisure in Split. You may choose to explore independently or opt for a full-day excursion with a private guide and driver. Possible outings include visiting Krka National Park to see its renowned waterfalls, sampling local prosciutto in the surrounding hills, or taking a trip to the island of Hvar. For wine enthusiasts, there is an optional tasting experience featuring authentic Croatian varietals paired with fleur de sel, aged red wine vinegar, homemade bread and more. Please note these optional activities require a minimum of two participants. Overnight in Split.
Day 4 - Split - Zagreb
After breakfast, we transfer you to Zagreb at the agreed time. Once there, you have the remainder of the day at your leisure to explore Croatia’s capital city at your own pace. Overnight in Zagreb.
Day 5 - Zagreb
After breakfast, meet your guide for a walking tour of Croatia’s capital. Zagreb offers a fascinating blend of history and modern life. We stroll along Ilica, the city’s longest street, which separates the charming, historic Upper Town from the lively Lower Town. In the Upper Town, you’ll see the colourful tiled roof of St Mark’s Church, Lotrščak Tower, the funicular railway, the Stone Gate, and traditional gas streetlamps that were once lit by hand. The districts of Gradec and Kaptol are the city’s oldest areas, where Zagreb first developed. We also visit Dolac Market, one of Europe’s few remaining open-air markets, and the main square, Ban Jelačić Square. In the afternoon, you have time to relax in one of Zagreb’s many open-air cafés, which contribute to the city’s reputation as Europe’s largest café culture. Overnight in Zagreb.
Day 6 - Zagreb
After breakfast at the hotel, the day is yours to enjoy at leisure. You may choose to explore the surroundings of Zagreb or visit nearby attractions with an optional private driver and guide. Options include the charming historic town of Samobor, where you can sample the local speciality pastry, kremšnita. Alternatively, visit Hrvatsko Zagorje to see Veliki Tabor – a well-preserved fortress and museum – or explore the impressive Trakošćan Castle. Overnight in Zagreb.
Day 7 - Zagreb
After breakfast, we will transfer you to Zagreb Airport at the agreed time for your onward flight. This concludes your journey.
