Day 1 - Milan to Como
Milan - Como. Private transfer from Milan Malpensa Airport to your hotel in Como, where you can spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring this historic lakeside city. Key sites such as Como Cathedral and the museum and gardens of Tempio Voltiano are just a short stroll from the hotel.
Day 2 - The Bernina Express to Sant Moritz
Como - Tirano - Como. Today experience the Bernina Express, famously known as the "train that climbs the mountain", an unforgettable journey through breath-taking alpine scenery. After breakfast at your hotel, your driver will take you to Tirano, where you'll board the Bernina Express.
This iconic train, celebrating over a century of service and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers one of the world’s most scenic rail routes. As you travel, you'll ascend to an altitude of 2,253 meters (7,400 feet), the highest point a train can reach in Europe. Marvel at the Swiss Alps and the Bernina Pass as you make your way to St. Moritz, Switzerland. Enjoy some free time to explore this elegant mountain town before meeting your driver for the return trip to Como. Remember, you may need to bring your passport / visa to gain entry to Switzerland.
Day 3 - Relaxing at Lake Como
Today is yours to enjoy at leisure in the elegant lakeside town of Como. You may wish to ride the funicular up to Brunate for breathtaking views over the lake and surrounding mountains, or visit a lakeside beach. A highlight of any free day here is the opportunity to take a scenic boat trip on Lake Como, whether that be a short public ferry ride to neighbouring lakeside villages or a private cruise past grand villas and lush gardens, offering a different perspective of this glamorous destination. Consider visiting beautiful Bellagio, where you can wander elegant streets and enjoy lunch by the water, before returning to Como.
Day 4 - Como to Milan
Como - Milan. It's time to bid Lake Como farewell. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Milan (MXP).
