Day 1 - Nairobi to Narok & Masai Mara

Nairobi - Narok - Masai Mara. Early this morning we collect you from your Nairobi hotel or the airport and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. The route crosses the floor of the Great Rift Valley with views of Mount Longonot, then continues via Narok to reach our lodge in time for lunch.
We check in and enjoy a hot buffet lunch – you can take a moment to refresh – before we head out on an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and overnight at Mara Jambo Lodge or similar.
Day 2 - Masai Mara Full-Day Game Drive

We spend a full day exploring the Masai Mara National Reserve on game drives across open savannah and along the Mara and Talek rivers. Covering 1,510 km² of grasslands and fertile riverine woodland in Kenya, the reserve is renowned for its rich wildlife – expect regular sightings of Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat-eared foxes, grey jackals, spotted hyaenas, topis, impala, hartebeest and vast herds of wildebeest. Elephants, buffalo, zebra and hippos are also commonly seen. Dinner and overnight at Mara Jambo Lodge or similar.
Day 3 - Masai Mara to the Serengeti

Masai Mara - Serengeti National Park (Tanzania). Early wake-up and breakfast, then we depart the Masai Mara for the Isebania border – the Kenya–Tanzania crossing. We arrive in time for a hot lunch before completing border formalities. If you require a visa on arrival, you can obtain it here with our guide’s assistance.
After clearance, our Kenyan driver–guide hands over to our Tanzanian guide and we continue into Tanzania towards the Serengeti. Dinner and overnight at Osinon Tented Camp – or a similar camp.
Day 4 - Full-Day Serengeti Game Drive

After breakfast, we set off for a full day game drive in Serengeti National Park, carrying a packed lunch. We spend the day exploring its open plains and riverine areas, renowned for abundant wildlife. We pause for lunch in the bush and continue searching for sightings until we return to camp to refresh before dinner. Dinner and overnight at Osinon Tented Camp or similar.
Day 5 - Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater. We check out and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, arriving at our lodge in time for lunch.
In the afternoon we head out on a game drive across varied crater landscapes – forest, woodland, open grassland, lakes and swamps – with opportunities to see members of the Big Five. Elephants, lions and buffalo are often encountered; black rhino are present and sometimes seen. We also keep an eye out for serval, spotted hyena and jackal, while cheetah are more elusive. Later, we return to our lodge for dinner and overnight – Rhino Lodge or similar.
Day 6 - Final Game Drive & Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha. We head out on a final morning game drive in Ngorongoro Crater – a last opportunity to enjoy the wildlife and views. We then depart Ngorongoro and drive to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon, where the safari ends.
