Itinerary
Day 1 - Fes
Arrive into Fes Airport and transfer to your accommodation. After check-in, the remainder of the day is free for you to settle in and begin to absorb the atmosphere of this historic city, known for its deep cultural traditions and remarkably preserved old town.
Day 2 - Fes Sightseeing & Leisure
Enjoy a half-day guided tour of the medina, focusing on its souks and historic palaces. You explore the bustling market streets, where traditional crafts and trades continue much as they have for centuries, and gain insight into the wealth and influence of Fes during its time as an imperial capital through visits to its palatial architecture.
The afternoon is free for you to explore further at your own pace or relax back at your riad after the morning’s guided visit.
Day 3 - Volubilis Day Trip
Fes - Volubilis - Fes. Travel to the Roman city of Volubilis, one of Morocco’s most impressive archaeological sites. You explore its well-preserved forum, triumphal arch and intricate mosaics, which offer a clear insight into Roman life in North Africa, set against a backdrop of rolling countryside.
Continue onwards to the caves of Bhalil, a traditional village where some families still live in troglodyte dwellings carved into the rock. The visit provides a glimpse into a distinctive way of life shaped by the local landscape. Return to Fes for a final night.
Day 4 - Fes
Your short stay in Fes comes to an end after breakfast. Check-out and take an included transfer to the airport.
