This 5-day tour starts and ends in Marrakech, offering a fantastic blend of vibrant city life, stunning mountain scenery, and desert adventure. You’ll journey through the High Atlas Mountains via the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka pass, explore the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, and visit the Atlas movie studios in Ouarzazate. The tour continues with breathtaking views at Todra Gorge and a memorable overnight stay in a desert camp near the Erg Chebbi dunes, complete with a campfire dinner under the stars. On the return, you’ll pass through lush oases and traditional Berber villages before arriving back in Marrakech for your departure.

Itinerary
Day 1 - Marrakech
Upon arrival at Marrakech Airport, you will be greeted by a tour representative waiting outside the Arrivals exit, holding a sign with your name. Please ensure you meet your agent or driver before leaving the pick-up area. You will then be transferred to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is yours to relax or begin exploring the vibrant city of Marrakech at your own pace. Overnight stay in Marrakech.
Day 2 - Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Ait Ouglif
After breakfast, your driver will meet you at the hotel reception around 8:00. We begin the day by driving through the winding Tizi n’Tichka pass, which rises to 2,226 metres and offers stunning views of the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we pass traditional villages that provide a glimpse into local life. Our first major stop is the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, famous for its appearances in films such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After a break for lunch in the town of Ait Ben Haddou, we continue to Ouarzazate to visit the Atlas Film Studios. Next, we stop at the fortified village of Kelaat M’Gouna, known for its annual rose festival. The day concludes with a drive to the Dades Gorges, where you will check in to your hotel for the night.
Day 3 - Merzouga
After breakfast, we leave the Dades Valley and head towards the Todra Gorge, a striking natural formation known for its vivid colours and dramatic cliffs—perfect for photography stops. We then continue to Erfoud for lunch, which is included. From there, we travel to the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you’ll transfer into a 4x4 for the final stretch to Merzouga. Upon arrival, settle into your desert camp and enjoy the spectacular sunset from the top of a sand dune. The evening concludes with dinner around a campfire, accompanied by your local Berber hosts. Overnight in Merzouga.
Day 4 - Merzouga - Rissani - Alnif - Tazzrine - Marrakech - Marrakech
You’ll rise early to climb a sand dune and watch the sunrise—a memorable way to start the day. After breakfast, we drive by 4x4 towards Rissani, the capital of Tafilalt and resting place of notable members of the Alawite dynasty. From there, we continue to Alnif before crossing Jbel Saghro to reach the Berber village of Tazarine. Lunch is served in N’kob. The journey then takes us through the lush Draa Valley, a striking green oasis amid the desert, before ascending back into the Atlas Mountains. Passing several Berber villages, we arrive in Marrakech around 20:00. You’ll check in to your hotel and have the evening at your leisure to rest after the day’s travel.
Day 5 - Marrakech - Marrakech
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Marrakech Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your Moroccan journey.
