Itinerary
Day 1 - Welcome to Tangier

Arrive in Tangier and transfer to your accommodation - Villa de France or similar. The rest of the day is at leisure to settle in and enjoy your first impressions of this historic port city, long shaped by European and Moroccan influences.
Day 2 - Exploring Tangier

We explore Tangier on a guided tour, visiting the Petit Socco, the Grand Socco and the old medina. These lively squares have long been meeting points for traders, writers and artists, reflecting Tangier’s cosmopolitan past. The afternoon is free for you to continue exploring at your own pace - perhaps revisiting the medina’s winding lanes or relaxing at a café.
Day 3 - Tangier to Casablanca

Tangier - Casablanca. We travel south on the high-speed Al Boraq train to Casablanca. The journey follows the Atlantic coast, passing olive groves and small villages en route to Kenitra and Rabat, before the landscape becomes increasingly urban as we approach Morocco’s largest city. We visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque, dramatically positioned above the ocean and one of the largest mosques in the world.
Day 4 - Casablanca to Rabat

Casablanca - Rabat. We take a slower train to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. On arrival, we enjoy a guided tour of the city, including the Chellah - a historic site combining Roman and medieval ruins - and the Kasbah des Oudayas, with its white and blue Andalusian-style houses overlooking the Atlantic.
Day 5 - Rabat to Fes

Rabat - Fes. Today’s train journey takes us into the heart of Morocco, through rolling hills dotted with orange and olive groves. We pass Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities, before continuing to Fes. Founded in the 9th century, Fes is renowned for its spiritual and cultural heritage.
Day 6 - Discovering Fes

We have a half-day guided tour of Fes, exploring the souks and palaces of the old medina - one of the world’s largest living medieval cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The afternoon is free for you to explore further, perhaps visiting a traditional tannery or seeking out local handicrafts.
Day 7 - Fes to Oujda
Fes - Oujda. We travel by train past the foothills of the Middle Atlas Mountains, known for their cedar forests. The train stops at Taza, located between the Rif and Middle Atlas ranges, where the landscape becomes noticeably drier. We continue to Taourirt, with its desert-town feel, before arriving in Oujda.
Day 8 - Exploring Oujda

We spend the day in Oujda, close to the Algerian border. We see Bab Sidi Abdel Wahab, a 14th-century city gate near the old town, and visit Sidi Maafa Forest Park. The remainder of the day is free for you to relax or explore at your own pace.
Day 9 - Departure from Oujda
Transfer to Oujda airport for departure.
