Day 1 - Arrive in Manila!

Upon your arrival in Manila, you’ll be met at the airport and transported through the bustling streets to our boutique hostel in the heart of the city. Once you’ve settled into your accommodation, we will join the group in the evening on our rooftop terrace for a welcoming dinner. Here, we can enjoy a selection of local dishes and a few drinks while soaking in the stunning views of the Manila skyline and vibrant city atmosphere.

Please note: This tour stays in a mixture of hotels and hostels and is designed for younger travellers looking for a backpacker-style experience and to meet like-minded people. The average age on this tour is around 21 - 35, and we are unfortunately unable to take any travellers over the age of 45. Day 2 - Manila to Puerto Princesa

Manila - Puerto Princesa. After a leisurely breakfast, we’re off to Palawan! We’ll catch a short flight to Puerto Princesa, the charming gateway to this island paradise. Upon arrival, you’ll have time to relax—take a refreshing swim in the pool, indulge in a soothing massage, or unwind in the serene surroundings.

In the evening, we’ll gather for dinner (not included) at a local restaurant, where you can savor regional specialties while soaking in the relaxed coastal ambiance of this delightful city.

Day 3 - Puerto Princesa to Port Barton

Puerto Princesa - Port Barton. We begin our day with an early visit to the UNESCO-designated Underground River, where we’ll explore a section of this natural wonder by boat. After our adventure, we’ll pause for lunch before setting out on a picturesque drive to the serene and secluded Port Barton.

Upon arrival, you can choose to relax on golden sands with a fresh coconut in hand, soaking in the laid-back island vibe and reggae tunes drifting through the air or alternatively, you can opt to have a massage In the evening, we’ll settle into traditional Filipino-style beach bungalows, where the soothing sounds of the ocean will lull us to sleep.

Day 4 - Port Barton Islander Experience

For the next two days, we’ll immerse ourselves in the local island lifestyle with our Islander Experience. After breakfast, we’ll join our local guides on a boat to explore the stunning islands around Port Barton.

Our first stop is a visit to one of four local schools, where we’ll connect with students and see the impact of our support. Guests are encouraged to bring school supplies, which can be pre-purchased or bought the day before in Puerto Princesa. Monetary donations are also welcome and go toward projects like building kitchens, and canteens or providing sports equipment. If the school is on break or it’s a weekend, we’ll visit the local daycare center instead.

We’ll gather around a fire at our private beach camp in the evening. Our guides will prepare a feast of grilled fish, pork, rice, vegetables, and fruit. At night, we’ll sleep in tents on the beach, enjoying the serenity of paradise.

Please note: The school visit may take place on day 4 or 5.

Day 5 - Port Barton Island Hopping & Waterfalls

Today marks the second day of our island-hopping adventure. We’ll continue snorkelling around vibrant coral reefs and swimming alongside sea turtles, discovering the underwater wonders of this tropical paradise.

In addition to exploring the reefs, we’ll shower in jungle waterfalls, visit secluded islands, and take time to simply soak in the magic of the surroundings.

Please note: Activities on day 4 and 5 may alternate depending on each departure.

Day 6 - Port Barton to El Nido

Port Barton - El Nido. After breakfast, we’ll take a moment to appreciate the serene beauty of our surroundings before boarding a van to El Nido. As we arrive, it becomes clear why Palawan is hailed as the world’s most beautiful island—El Nido’s dramatic cliffs and picturesque islands create a truly breathtaking hidden paradise.

Once we’ve soaked in the stunning views, we’ll check into one of Palawan’s most stylish hostels, offering a perfect blend of boutique hotel elegance and a relaxed atmosphere. In the evening, we’ll gather at our favorite beachside restaurant where you can enjoy delicious food, vibrant entertainment, and the perfect way to immerse yourself in this coastal gem.

Day 7 - Filipino Cultural Day

Today, prepare to dive into the rich and diverse Filipino culture! We’ll begin with a brief hike through the jungle to explore the lush rainforest, home to a wide variety of plants and animals. Our destination is a secluded jungle hut, where a day full of exciting activities awaits.

We’ll then have the opportunity to cook authentic Filipino dishes, climb coconut trees, try traditional Filipino stick fighting, shave coconuts, learn Filipino dances and children's games, weave with coconut leaves, and more. Afterward, you can choose to experience an exhilarating zipline adventure, soaring between two islands above the ocean, before unwinding at the stunning Las Cabanas Beach. It’s an unforgettable combination of adventure and relaxation!

Day 8 - Island Hopping

This morning, we’ll board our boat to explore the stunning, tiny islands scattered throughout the bay. We’ll visit some of the most beautiful islands and experience the clearest, bluest waters imaginable.

Along the way, you’ll have the chance to snorkel and enjoy freshly prepared food on board. It’s truly an experience of a lifetime, where adventure and natural beauty come together.

Day 9 - Canopy Walk & Massage

Today, we’ll take a brief canopy walk up to the renowned cliffs that offer stunning views of El Nido, the breathtaking bay, and Cadlao Island. After this invigorating activity, it’s time to relax.

We’ve arranged a traditional Filipino massage by the beach to soothe your muscles. Take the rest of the day at your own pace to unwind and appreciate the beauty of your surroundings. You can add an island-hopping day, go scuba diving, try a boxing class, or take a surfing lesson to make the most of your time in this tropical paradise.

Day 10 - El Nido to Coron

El Nido - Coron. As we bid farewell to those concluding their 10-day adventure. After breakfast, we’ll pack up and board the fast ferry to Coron. Upon arrival, settle into your accommodation before spending the evening exploring Coron town, soaking up the vibrant nightlife, live music, and delicious street food that make this destination so unique.

Day 11 - Free Day to Explore Coron

Today is yours to enjoy at your leisure! You can relax at the accommodation or embark on an adventure with optional activities like hiking Mount Tapyas, discovering the underwater world through scuba diving, or going on another island-hopping tour, the choice is all yours.

Day 12 - Coron to Pass Island

Coron - Pass Island. Today, we’ll spend the day snorkeling at Coron’s top spots, taking in the stunning landscapes and pristine beaches as we explore the waters. Our adventure includes a visit to the Lusong Gunboat Shipwreck, a fascinating World War II relic now home to vibrant coral and marine life. As you explore the sunken vessel, you’ll discover the unique blend of history and nature.

In the evening, we’ll head to Pass Island for an unforgettable night under the stars, complete with an optional bonfire with sunset cocktails to end the day in paradise.

Day 13 - Pass Island to Coron

Pass Island - Coron. Today, you’ll continue your adventure on the stunning Coron Island, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and crystal-clear waters. We’ll explore the vibrant Coral Garden, where you can marvel at the colorful marine life and stunning coral formations beneath the surface. After a morning of underwater exploration, we’ll head to the Maquinit Hot Springs for a relaxing soak, where you can unwind and rejuvenate in the warm, therapeutic waters.

Day 14 - Coron to Cebu City

Coron - Cebu City. Today, we travel to the eastern Philippines to begin the second part of our tour. Upon arriving in Cebu, you will be greeted at the airport. After checking into your accommodation, you can choose to explore Cebu City or take some time to rest.

We will meet with the group in the evening for a welcome meal at one of our favourite local restaurants.

Day 15 - Cebu City to Moalboat

Cebu City - Moalboat. Today, we’re heading to Moalboal! Our journey takes us through the picturesque countryside of Cebu, offering glimpses of rural life along the way. Our first stop will be the Simala Shrine, where we’ll immerse ourselves in Filipino culture and take in the shrine’s striking architecture and religious significance.

After arriving in Moalboal, you’ll check into your beachfront accommodation. There will be time for lunch at your leisure or you can opt to have a massage or enjoy a scuba diving session before we head to the renowned Sardine Run for an unforgettable snorkelling adventure. Prepare to swim amidst thousands of sardines, and with a bit of luck, you may even spot a turtle or two.

Day 16 - Osmena Peak & Swimming Hole

Moalboat - Coron - Moalboat. Today, we’ll set off early for Osmeña Peak to catch the sunrise. A short hike will lead us to the summit, where we can relax and take in the unique jagged hills and sweeping views as the sun rises.

Afterward, we’ll head to a tropical swimming hole, where a local family will prepare breakfast for us. You’ll have a few hours to swim and enjoy the peaceful surroundings before we return to Moalboal. The rest of the day is yours to relax, explore, or you can opt for a massage, scuba diving or join a visit to Lambug Beach.

Day 17 - Moalboat to Bohol

Moalboat - Bohol. After breakfast, we’ll begin our journey to Bohol. Taking the scenic route back to Cebu City, we’ll board a ferry to Bohol, offering the chance to soak in stunning sea views along the way.

By the afternoon, we’ll arrive at our accommodations. The rest of the day is yours to unwind, you can opt for a massage or choose to relax by the pool or enjoy a cocktail at Alona Beach, renowned for its breathtaking sunsets.

Day 18 - Chocolate Hills, Tarsier Sanctuary & Dessert Making

We’ll embark on a journey through the stunning landscapes of Bohol. Our adventure begins at the renowned Chocolate Hills, where we’ll take in panoramic views of this unique and iconic landscape.

From there, we’ll continue to the tranquil Mahogany Man-Made Forest, driving along a scenic road flanked by towering mahogany trees. Next, we’ll visit the Tarsier Sanctuary to observe these tiny primates in their natural habitat.

We’ll then enjoy a leisurely lunch at an open-air restaurant overlooking the serene Loboc River. Afterwards, we’ll immerse ourselves in nature with some stand-up paddleboarding or kayaking along the Loboc River, surrounded by lush greenery, tropical vegetation, and coconut palm-lined banks. We’ll conclude the day with a dessert-making workshop, where we’ll learn to create delicious traditional Filipino desserts.

Day 19 - Daycare Visit & Virgin Island Sunset Tour

Today, we’ll visit a daycare to spend time with local children. This provides us with a unique opportunity to engage in conversations and learn about their daily lives and education.

In the afternoon, we’ll embark on a sunset tour through some of the most beautiful tropical waters. During the tour, we’ll stop to snorkel among coral reefs and marine life, as Bohol is renowned for its vibrant underwater scenery. By late afternoon, we’ll reach Virgin Island, a magical white sandbar, just in time to watch the sunset.

In the evening, you’ll enjoy a traditional Filipino 'boodle fight' dinner, where various Filipino dishes are served on banana leaves for a communal meal. It’s a wonderful chance to savour a few cocktails and relish the moment with the group.

Day 20 - Bohol to Boracay

Bohol - Boracay. Today, we set off on an exciting adventure to Boracay, famous for its pristine white sand beaches, clear waters, and vibrant nightlife. Our journey begins with a flight to Caticlan Airport, followed by a quick tricycle ride to the ferry terminal, and then a short 10-minute public ferry ride to Boracay.

Upon arrival, a car will transport you to your accommodation, where you’ll spend the next three nights. While Boracay is best known for its main beach, it also boasts several hidden gems waiting to be explored. After refreshing yourself, we’ll gather for a sunset sailing excursion, offering breathtaking views and unforgettable memories.

Day 21 - Motag Living Museum & Filipino Culture

After breakfast, we’ll take a brief ferry ride to the mainland island of Malay to visit the Motag Living Museum. This unique cultural experience offers us a glimpse into the traditional lifestyles of Caticlan’s locals. We’ll immerse ourselves in Filipino culture and engage with the locals, eager to share the authentic aspects of rural Filipino life.

In the afternoon, we’ll return to Boracay. The remainder of the day is yours to relax on the stunning White Beach, enjoy a soothing massage, or rent a kayak to explore the pristine waters.

Day 22 - Boracay at Leisure

Take the morning at your own pace to relax and unwind. You can choose to visit Newcoast Beach or join a Crystal Kayak experience to explore the waters from a different perspective.

In the afternoon, we’ll have the chance to share stories of our adventures and discoveries. With your Hop-on and Hop-off bus pass, you can venture to the area’s lesser-known beaches. Whether you’re seeking hidden coves, quiet bays, or peaceful shores, each stop offers its own magic. You’ll enjoy the calm of the coastline, the sound of the waves, and the natural beauty that surrounds you.

Later, we’ll gather as a group to uncover some of the island’s hidden gems. Imagine exploring secluded beaches, discovering tiny islands, wandering through local villages, and soaking in the serene tropical landscapes. We’ll end the day by relaxing with a complimentary massage.
