Itinerary
Day 1 - Colombo
On arrival at Colombo airport, our representative will meet you and arrange your transfer to your hotel in the city. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and settle in, giving you time to recover from your journey and prepare for the experiences ahead. Overnight in Colombo.
Day 2 - Colombo - Tissamaharama
We start the day early, departing from Colombo for Yala National Park. Travelling via Rathnapura to Udawalawe, we visit the Eth Athuru Sevana Elephant Orphanage, where rescued elephants are cared for and rehabilitated. After time spent observing these remarkable animals, we continue to Tissamaharama for lunch. In the afternoon, we set out on a three-hour jeep safari through Yala National Park, renowned for its diverse wildlife and natural landscapes. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay in Tissamaharama.
Day 3 - Tissamaharama - Galle - Colombo
After breakfast, we check out and set off for the historic city of Galle. En route, we visit a traditional lace factory in Dikwella, where you can observe local craftsmanship. On arrival in Galle, we enjoy lunch before exploring the renowned Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a rich colonial past. We then continue to Balapitiya for a scenic boat safari. On our return journey to Colombo, we stop at a moonstone mine and a turtle hatchery, where you can learn about local conservation efforts. The day concludes with a transfer back to your hotel in Colombo.
