Itinerary
Day 1 - Bangkok
On arrival at Bangkok International Airport, we’ll meet you and arrange your transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to settle in and get a feel for the city – you could unwind with a traditional Thai massage, try local flavours at a nearby eatery, or watch the sunset from one of Bangkok’s rooftop bars. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 2 - Bangkok
After breakfast, we set out on a half day tour of three of Bangkok’s most important Buddhist temples. We begin at Wat Traimit – the Temple of the Golden Buddha – home to a solid gold statue three metres tall and weighing 5.5 tonnes. We then pass through Chinatown en route to Wat Pho, famed for the Reclining Buddha and the Chedis of the Kings; the statue is 46 metres long and 15 metres high, depicting the Buddha’s passing into nirvana. Next is the Grand Palace, the former royal residence and a landmark of Siamese architecture. Here we see a range of buildings used for different occasions – the Funeral Palace, the Reception Palace, the Throne Hall, the Coronation Hall, the Royal Guest House – and the Emerald Buddha Temple. To conclude, we call in at a local lapidary factory and showroom where you can shop for locally made jewellery, handicrafts and silk at competitive prices. Note – The Grand Palace is closed during special royal ceremonies and during visits by heads of state. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 3 - Bangkok - Samut Songkhram - Ratchaburi
After breakfast, we leave Bangkok for Samut Songkhram to visit Maeklong Railway Market – Talad Rom Hoop. On arrival, our guide shares the story of this unique spot before we take our place to watch the train pass through as vendors swiftly pull back their awnings and produce – a brief, striking routine that’s over in minutes. We then continue to Ratchaburi to explore the famous Damnoen Saduak floating market, where colourfully clad vendors paddle canoes laden with fresh fruit and vegetables along narrow canals. It’s a lively glimpse of local life, and you can browse and bargain from the banks if you wish. We return to Bangkok afterwards. Breakfast included. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 4 - Bangkok - Krabi
After breakfast at the hotel, we provide an unescorted transfer to Bangkok Airport for your flight to Krabi – flight not included. On arrival at Krabi Airport, our driver will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a sign bearing your name, and we transfer you to your hotel. Check in and settle, then you have the rest of the day to relax or explore at your own pace. Overnight in Krabi.

Dress casually – comfortable, light clothing is recommended. You will be transferred to the quay on the Krabi River before boarding the speed boat to visit Phra Nang Cave, Tup Island, Chicken Island and Poda Island. The first stop is Pranang Beach, noted across Asia for its striking stalactites. At Tup Island, when the tide is low a sandbar links Chicken Island to the smaller islets of Koh Mor and Tup – a phenomenon known locally as Talay Waek, meaning divided sea. Chicken Island is named for its distinctive rock formation that juts into the sea. At Poda Island, you can swim or snorkel, or simply relax on the beach in the shade. The surrounding waters are clear and home to multicoloured tropical fish and coral.Overnight in Krabi.
