Day 1 - Arrival in Bangkok

Upon arrival in Bangkok, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to our accommodation in the heart of the city. You will have the rest of the day at leisure to explore Bangkok at your own pace, relax at the hotel, or get to know your fellow travellers. Later, we will join our group for a welcome dinner at 7 PM.

Please note: This tour is designed for younger travellers looking for a backpacker-style experience and to meet like-minded people. The average age on this tour is around 21 - 35, and we are unfortunately unable to take any travellers over the age of 39. Day 2 - Exploring Bangkok

Today, we will explore Bangkok from a fresh angle with a leisurely cruise on a long-tail boat through the city’s centre. We will glide past charming riverside neighbourhoods, traditional wooden homes on stilts, and lively floating markets, offering a fascinating glimpse into local life.

Afterwards, we'll visit some of Bangkok's most revered temples, where intricate carvings, gleaming golden statues, and serene courtyards tell stories of the city’s rich history and spiritual traditions. Next, we will enjoy an exciting tuk-tuk ride through the bustling streets. As night falls, you can choose to immerse yourself in the vibrant nightlife of Bangkok!

Day 3 - Thai Cooking Class & Overnight Train

This morning, we’ll dive into the vibrant flavours of Thailand as we embark on an authentic cooking class, learning the art of creating mouthwatering Thai dishes. From selecting fresh ingredients to mastering traditional techniques, we’ll experience the heart of Thai cuisine firsthand.

Afterward, we’ll unwind on an overnight train journey south, watching Thailand’s scenery shift from Bangkok’s bustling cityscape to the peaceful countryside, with rice paddies, villages, and winding rivers setting a serene backdrop.

Day 4 - Long Tail Boat to Khao Sok National Park

Bangkok - Khao Sok National Park. Today, upon arriving in Khao Sok, we’ll navigate through towering limestone cliffs in a long-tail boat to reach a pristine freshwater lake. There, we’ll spend the night in floating bungalows, with plenty of time to enjoy the stunning lakeside location.

You’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in exciting activities like kayaking through crystal-clear waters, tubing along scenic rivers, and spotting playful monkeys in their natural habitat.

Day 5 - Khao Sok to Koh Phangan

Khao Sok National Park - Koh Phangan. This morning, we will enjoy the picturesque journey to the island of Koh Phangan, famous for its vibrant Full Moon parties. Beyond the lively celebrations, the island is known for its stunning beaches, lush jungles, and serene lagoons, offering the perfect blend of natural beauty and vibrant nightlife.

Once we have arrived, you can settle into our stunning beachside bungalows, unwind by the pool, and take in your first island sunset before we experience an exciting beach party!

Day 6 - Koh Phangan at Leisure

Today, enjoy a day at leisure to explore Koh Phangan at your own pace. Lounge on the sandy beaches, swim in the crystal-clear waters, or relax by the pool, surrounded by lush greenery and the island’s tranquil atmosphere.

Later, we will treat you to a rejuvenating traditional Thai massage to help you unwind.

Day 7 - Exploring Koh Phangan & Beach BBQ

Day 8 - Mauy Thai, Yoga Class & Nightlife

Today, you can choose between diving into the intense and exhilarating art of Muay Thai boxing, where you’ll learn powerful techniques and gain insight into this traditional martial art, or finding balance and tranquillity with a private yoga class, allowing you to unwind and centre yourself amidst the island’s peaceful surroundings.

Afterwards, we’ll head out for our final night on Koh Phangan, where you can immerse yourself in the vibrant nightlife, from lively beach bars to exciting nightclubs, offering a memorable end to your stay on this lively island.

Day 9 - Koh Phangan to Phi Phi Island

Koh Phangan - Phi Phi Islands. Today, we will depart from Koh Phangan early in the morning and embark on a scenic journey to the stunning island of Phi Phi. As we travel, we’ll pass through crystal-clear waters, with views of small islands and dramatic coastlines. The boat ride offers a relaxing escape, with gentle sea breezes and panoramic views of the turquoise ocean.

By the late afternoon, we’ll arrive in Phi Phi, where we’ll check into our guesthouse. Afterwards, we’ll head out for dinner, enjoy refreshing drinks, and immerse ourselves in the lively atmosphere of a beach party.

Day 10 - Phi Phi Island Boat Trip

We will embark on an incredible boat journey around the breathtaking Phi Phi Leh. You will have the chance to enjoy activities such as snorkelling, kayaking, and witnessing a spectacular underwater light show at night. Later, we will indulge in dinner and have a few drinks under the stars for an unforgettable experience.

Day 11 - Hiking & Private Boat Tour

Today, we will enjoy a hike to the iconic viewpoints on Phi Phi Island, followed by an incredible private boat tour around the stunning Paradise Islands. You can snorkel in the crystal-clear waters before you head out for dinner and experience the vibrant nightlife of Phi Phi.

Day 12 - Ferry to Phuket & Leisure time

Phi Phi Islands - Phuket. This morning, we’ll board a scenic ferry to Phuket, crossing the sparkling waters as the gentle breeze and distant islands create a serene atmosphere. As we approach the island, its lush coastline and beautiful beaches come into view.

Once we arrive, you’ll have the afternoon to relax and enjoy the island’s charm. In the evening, we’ll savour a sunset dinner with drinks, watching the sky turn to shades of orange and pink as the sun sets.

Day 13 - Phuket to Chiang Mai

Phuket - Chiang Mai. This morning, we will depart Phuket and head to the airport for our flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, we will proceed to check into our accommodation. Afterward, there will be an opportunity to explore the city, relax by the pool, or go shopping. Later this evening, we will experience Chiang Mai’s nightlife as we go out for dinner.

Day 14 - Exploring Chiang Mai

Today we will go a full day trip to discover the cultural and natural attractions of Chiang Mai. The adventure begins with a visit to the iconic Doi Suthep Temple, followed by a traditional Thai-style lunch at a local fish farm. Afterwards, we'll explore the intriguing 'sticky' waterfalls.

Day 15 - Chiang Mai Hill Tribe Trek

We trek through the breathtaking jungle of Chiang Mai, our path winding through lush rice paddies and alongside serene rivers. We end our day by staying overnight in this incredible, remote setting, surrounded by the natural wonders of northern Thailand.

Day 17 - Elephant Sanctuary

Today, we will visit a sanctuary dedicated to safeguarding elephants rescued from difficult circumstances and providing them with a safe, nurturing environment for rehabilitation. We will also observe these gentle giants interacting, foraging, and playing in their natural habitat, gaining a deeper understanding of the sanctuary’s vital conservation efforts.

Day 18 - Chiang Mai to Hanoi

Chiang Mai - Hanoi (Vietnam). Today we will make our way to the airport for our flight from Chiang Mai to Vietnam. Once we have arrived in Vietnam, you will be met by our Vietnam group leader who will transfer us to our accommodation in Hanoi.

The rest of the day is at leisure for you to enjoy a night out with your fellow travellers or relax at the hotel.

Day 22 - Ninh Binh Bike Ride & Overnight train to Hoi An

Ninh Binh - Hoi An. We will venture into the enchanting region of Ninh Binh, starting with a leisurely bike ride through the picturesque rice paddies, where the vibrant green fields stretch out before us. Next, we’ll take a scenic local rowboat trip, gently navigating along rivers and through captivating caves, immersing ourselves in the serene beauty of the landscape.

Afterward, we’ll climb to the famous Dragon Mountain Viewpoint, where we’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. As the day comes to an end, we’ll board the overnight train, making our way south towards the charming town of Hoi An.

Day 23 - Exploring Hoi An

In the morning, we’ll arrive in Hoi An, one of Vietnam’s most captivating and picturesque towns, known for its charming blend of ancient streets, vibrant colours, and rich history. As we step into the town, we’ll immediately be taken by its unique atmosphere, where every corner seems to tell a story.

In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to explore at your own pace, whether it’s relaxing by the riverside, shopping for handcrafted treasures, or perhaps having some clothes tailored by one of the skilled local seamstresses, a tradition Hoi An is famous for.

Day 24 - Vietnamese Cooking Class

Today, we’ll join local fishermen as they guide us through lush coconut groves, showing us the ancient art of crab fishing in the serene waters. Afterwards, we’ll dive into the rich flavours of Vietnam, learning the secrets behind preparing traditional dishes in an authentic cooking class.

Day 25 - Lantern Making & Beach Time

Today, we’ll get creative and craft our very own Vietnamese lantern, embracing the art and tradition behind this colourful symbol. Day 26 - Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh City

Day 27 - Mekong Delta Exploration

Ho Chi Minh City - The Mekong Delta. We will make our way from Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta, where we’ll immerse ourselves in the lush, vibrant landscapes and experience the unique rhythms of local life. As we visit nearby villages, we’ll witness the daily activities on the river, from bustling floating markets to traditional fishing methods. The day will end with a peaceful night spent at our local homestay in the heart of this tranquil, scenic region, surrounded by nature’s beauty.

Day 28 - Cu Chi Tunnels Exploration

The Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City. Today, we’ll explore the Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible network of underground passageways that once served as supply routes, hideouts, and living quarters during the Vietnam War. After discovering the secrets of this historical site, we’ll return to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon, where we’ll come together for a farewell dinner and party to celebrate our journey.

Day 29 - Ho Chi Minh to Phnom Penh

Ho Chi Minh City - Phnom Penh (Cambodia). Today, we hop on our bus and set off towards Cambodia! After crossing the border, we’ll make our way to Phnom Penh, the vibrant capital, arriving in the afternoon. Once we’ve had a chance to freshen up, we’ll head out together for dinner and drinks, marking the start of the Cambodia leg of our adventure.

Day 30 - Tuk Tuk Tour to S21 Prison & Killing Fields

We will start our day with a tuk-tuk tour through the bustling, chaotic streets of Phnom Penh, soaking up the vibrant energy of the city. Our journey will then take us to two poignant and significant sites: the S21 Prison and the original Killing Fields, where we will delve into the tragic history that has shaped this resilient nation. It will be a challenging day, but an essential one for understanding Cambodia's journey. That evening, we’ll enjoy dinner, drinks, and Phnom Penh’s lively nightlife.

Day 31 - Kampot & Kayaking

Phnom Penh - Kampot. Today, we leave the busy city behind and journey into the tranquil countryside of Kampot. In the afternoon, we’ll glide along the river in kayaks, soaking up the unhurried pace of local life.

Day 35 - Koh Rong Sanloem at Leisure & Siem Reap

Koh Rong Sanloem - Siem Reap. This morning, you will have some free time to further explore Koh Rong Sanloem at your own pace, perhaps enjoying a final swim in the crystal-clear waters, taking a leisurely walk along the beach, or simply relaxing in the tropical paradise.

Later, we’ll catch the ferry back to the mainland, where we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner before boarding our overnight bus to Siem Reap.

Day 37 - Angkor Wat

Today, we’ll rise early to catch the stunning sunrise and travel by tuk tuk to the awe-inspiring Angkor Wat, the largest temple in the world! Our local guide will accompany us, sharing the captivating history and stories behind the temple, as well as the nearby Ta Prohm, made famous by the film Tomb Raider. In the evening, we’ll gather for our farewell dinner, marking the end of an unforgettable journey with one last night out.

Day 38 - Siem Reap

Today will make the end of our tour, we will greet our group leader and fellow travellers, before making your way to the airport for your onward flight.
