Monument Valley 4x4 Jeep tour
Grand Canyon National Park - Monument Valley - Page. Today, we make a brief visit to a traditional Navajo trading post. Offering a variety of goods, including handmade Navajo crafts such as jewellery, textiles, pottery, and other traditional arts, these trading posts served as central hubs for trade, providing essential supplies and goods to both Navajo people and visitors in history.
We’ll then follow the mighty Colorado River through the Painted Desert and wind our way through more of the spectacular scenery of the American Southwest to Monument Valley. This region has served as a backdrop for many famous Western movies and is home to the Navajo Indians. We will enjoy an included 4X4 jeep safari into this incredible landscape, guided by a local Navajo. After this thrilling excursion, we make our way to Page and Lake Powell for our overnight stop.
Overnight: Page | Lunch
Antelope Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and Zion National Park
Page - Horseshoe Bend - Zion National Park - Las Vegas. This morning, after breakfast we’ll visit Horseshoe Bend, a dramatic, horseshoe-shaped meander of the Colorado River. After time for photos and to enjoy the view, we head to Antelope Canyon, where you can join an optional tour. We then make a photo stop at Lake Powell before heading to Zion National Park.
Carved by the Virgin River, Zion National Park showcases a stunning blend of white, pink, and red Navajo sandstone cliffs. The towering, petrified sand dunes, rising over 2,000 feet above the canyon floor, create a dramatic landscape and are a photographer’s dream.
Zion National Park offers delightful walks and hikes suitable for all fitness levels. We can explore this beautiful winter wonderland with a hike to the Emerald Pools, or if we prefer a gentler option, stroll around the valley or the Pa’rus Trail. We’ll also take in the spectacular views of the Great White Throne and Weeping Rock and visit the Human History Museum for an engaging ranger talk.
Later our tour will conclude as we make our way back to Las Vegas, arriving at approximately 7 pm.
