Day 1 - Medellin
On arrival at José María Córdova International Airport, we meet you for a private transfer to your hotel in Medellín. At the hotel, we assist with your luggage and check you in – a smooth, welcoming start to your stay. Overnight in Medellín.
Day 2 - Medellin
After breakfast at the hotel, we set out to explore Medellín – the City of Eternal Spring – tracing its transformation through innovation and social inclusion. We start at Plaza Botero to admire the iconic sculptures by artist Fernando Botero, continue to San Javier for a MetroCable ride that links hillside neighbourhoods with the city centre, and conclude in Comuna 13, where colourful murals and outdoor escalators share powerful stories of resilience and renewal. It’s an insightful day that showcases Medellín’s warmth, creativity and determination to progress. Overnight in Medellín.
Day 3 - Medellin
After breakfast at the hotel, we head into the hills outside Medellín for a half day at a traditional coffee farm. Guided by local experts, we walk among the plantations and follow the bean’s journey – from planting and harvesting to roasting and brewing – taking part in practical farm activities along the way. We finish with a tasting of freshly brewed coffee to appreciate the aroma and flavour of the region’s celebrated beans, before returning to the city. Overnight in Medellín.
Day 4 - Medellin - Guatape
After breakfast at the hotel, we travel from Medellín to Guatapé to visit the Piedra del Peñol – a striking monolith rising around 200 metres. We climb its 740 steps for sweeping views over the reservoir’s islands and green waters. Afterwards, we explore Guatapé’s streets to admire the colourful zócalos and facades that reflect local stories and traditions. We stop for a traditional Colombian lunch by the water, then unwind on a scenic boat ride for a fresh perspective on the landscape before returning to Medellín for the night.
Day 5 - Medellin
After breakfast at the hotel, we visit a local roasting house in Medellín for a practical coffee experience. Guided by expert baristas, we trace the journey from bean selection and milling through roasting to distribution – gaining insight into how small scale farmers and artisanal roasters combine tradition and innovation. We explore the aromas and flavours that define speciality coffee and taste a range of roasts to recognise their nuances – a focused session that deepens our understanding of the craft behind each cup. Overnight in Medellín.
Day 6 - Medellin
After breakfast, check out of your hotel. At the scheduled time, we provide a private transfer from your hotel to José María Córdova International Airport for your departure flight – a smooth, uncomplicated end to your stay in Medellín.
