Itinerary
Day 1 - Hangzhou
Upon arrival at Hangzhou Airport or railway station, a representative will meet you and accompany you on a private transfer directly to your hotel in the city. Once settled in, you have the remainder of the day at your leisure to rest after your journey or begin exploring Hangzhou at your own pace. Overnight in Hangzhou.
Day 2 - Hangzhou
After breakfast, we will collect you from the hotel lobby at around 9:00 for a visit to West Lake. A 30-minute drive brings us to this tranquil spot, where we will spend approximately two hours exploring. We will take a boat ride to Fairy Island, enjoying views of the surrounding mountains, bridges and pagodas from the water. Following lunch at a local restaurant, included in your tour, we will drive to the southern shore of West Lake to visit Leifeng Pagoda, China’s oldest bronze pagoda. Afterwards, we will continue to Hefang Street, a historic area once central to Hangzhou’s politics, culture and commerce, where you can explore shops, restaurants and traditional teahouses. We will also visit Huqingyutang, a Chinese pharmacy recognised as a major cultural relic under national protection. The day concludes with a transfer back to your hotel at around 17:30, leaving you free to explore the city at your leisure.
Day 3 - Hangzhou
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day at leisure in Hangzhou. You may choose to explore the city independently, visiting sites that interest you, or simply relax and make use of the hotel’s facilities. Alternatively, you can join one of the optional tours available. The full-day excursion to Wuzhen Water Town begins at 9:00 and includes a visit to the Chinese Foot Binding Culture Museum and the unique ‘Bridge in Bridge’ formed by Tongji and Renji Bridges, with lunch at a local restaurant. Another option is a two-day, one-night trip to Liangzhu and Anji, starting at 9:00 from your hotel. This tour features the Liangzhu Museum and the UNESCO-listed Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City, followed by an overnight stay in Anji. The next day includes leisure time in the Anji Bamboo Sea before returning to Hangzhou for your onward journey.
Day 4 - Hangzhou
After breakfast, you will check out of your hotel at the designated time and transfer to the airport for your onward or return flight.
