Day 1 - Welcome to Paris
Once you have arrived at the Airport, you are met for your private transfer into the centre of Paris. Your driver takes you directly to your accommodation, a short walk from the Luxembourg Gardens.
Please note: Maximum waiting time is 60 minutes.
Day 2 - Paris by Hop-On Hop-Off Bus
This morning, you have the flexibility to explore Paris by open-top bus, hopping off and back on at any of ten stops around the city, including the Eiffel Tower, Opera Garnier, the Louvre Museum, Notre Dame and the Champs-Elysees.
Commentary is available in English and ten other languages, with buses running daily between 10:00 am and 19:30 pm, every 15-20 minutes. A full circuit taking between two hours and two hours 15 minutes.
You then enjoy an audio-guided Seine river cruise, setting off from Port de la Bourdonnais close to the Eiffel Tower, with the crossing lasting one hour in total.
Day 3 - Explore the Louvre Museum
You make your own way to the meeting point at the Arc du Carrousel, the triumphal arch topped with a horse-drawn chariot, opposite the entrance to the Tuileries Garden. From here, your guide leads a group of 20 or fewer into the Louvre through its original medieval structure, dating to the 12th century, journeying through masterpieces spanning 450 BCE to the 1800s.
Over the course of the three-hour tour, you take in the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo, alongside works from the golden age of French Romanticism. A personal audio headset keeps your guide's commentary clear throughout.
Please note: The meeting point is the Arc du Carrousel - please arrive 15 minutes before departure.
Day 4 - Uncover the Palace of Versailles
This morning, you meet your guide at a central Paris meeting point close to Saint-Lazare station, before boarding the train for the 30-minute journey to Versailles. A short walk brings you to the palace gates.
Inside, timed-entry tickets take you straight into the state apartments, where your guide brings the Bourbon court to life through the Royal Chapel and the Princess' Apartments, building to the Hall of Mirrors and the King's State Apartments.
Your guided tour then continues into the gardens, with an introduction to the sweeping parterres, fountains and groves, before you continue independently, with time to walk out to the Trianon Estate. You return to Paris by train.
Please note: The Gardens of Versailles are explored independently; a guided garden tour is not included.
Day 5 - Farewell Paris
On your final day, you are collected from your accommodation for your private transfer back to the Airport, ready for your onward flight.
