Next, we’ll make our way to Harajuku, Tokyo’s leading fashion district, where cosplay shops, colourful treats and offbeat trends create one of the city’s most vibrant scenes. Just nearby, you’ll find NHK Hall and Yoyogi Park - a lively hub for concerts, cosplay gatherings and idol fan events that’s become a firm favourite among anime enthusiasts.
Later this afternoon, we’ll dive into the energy of Shibuya - a bustling district featured in countless anime, including Jujutsu Kaisen. You’ll have free time here to explore highlights such as Parco, the Pokémon Center, the One Piece Mugiwara Store and the Tokyo Anime Center.
In the evening, you might like to add a little extra excitement with an optional Kartoon Karting experience - a fun-filled ride through Tokyo’s neon streets, straight out of an anime scene. This must be booked 6 weeks in advance and you must have a valid drivers license.

We’ll kick off the day at DiverCity Tokyo Plaza to see the life-size Unicorn Gundam in motion before exploring Gundam Base - a must-visit for fans of Japan’s most iconic mecha series. Then, we’ll take a short stroll to Aqua City Odaiba to step back in time at the Retro Museum, filled with vintage arcades, nostalgic snacks and classic Showa-era charm.
The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace. You might like to visit Joypolis, Tokyo’s famous indoor amusement park featuring VR attractions, simulators and anime collaborations such as Attack on Titan.
We’ll wrap up the day at the Ghibli Giant Clock at Nittele Tower - a whimsical, larger-than-life creation designed by Hayao Miyazaki himself.
Day 4 - Pokémon Centre, Manga & Ikebukuro Fun
We’ll start the day in Ikebukuro, one of Tokyo’s most dynamic districts for anime and shopping. You’ll have free time to explore Sunshine Mall and its lively surroundings, filled with plenty of highlights to discover. You might choose to take in some of the city's historic highlights, like the Meiji Shrine, or to experience the magic of Tokyo Disneyland or DisneySea, or head to the coastal town of Kamakura to wander its charming streets, visit the Great Buddha and capture a photo at the iconic First Slam Dunk railway crossing. Fans of classic manga can visit the Fujiko F. Fujio Museum in Kawasaki, while those drawn to Japan’s cuter side can step into kawaii heaven at Sanrio Puroland. In the afternoon, we’ll come together at a themed café or fun local spot chosen by your Adventure Leader. It’s the perfect opportunity to share stories, show off your favourite finds and reflect on the journey so far.
To round off our adventure in true Japanese style, we’ll finish the evening at a karaoke bar, the ultimate way to celebrate the end of your anime-filled journey together.
