You’ll explore the Atlas Mountains and the famous Tizi-n-Test pass, visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, and wander through ancient towns like Ouarzazate and Kelaat M’Gouna. Highlights include the stunning Dadès and Todgha Gorges, a magical sunset and sunrise over the Erg Chibbi dunes, and a warm Berber camp experience. Itinerary
Day 1 - Marrakech
Upon arrival at Marrakech Airport, you will be greeted by a tour representative waiting outside the Arrivals exit, holding a sign with your name. Please ensure you meet the agent or driver before leaving the pick-up area. You will then be transferred to your hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is yours to relax or begin exploring the vibrant city of Marrakech at your own pace. Overnight stay in Marrakech.
Day 2 - Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Ait Ouglif
After breakfast, meet your driver in the hotel reception at around 8:00 to begin your private tour. We drive into the Atlas Mountains, ascending to the Tizi-n-Test pass at 2,226 metres. Along the way, you’ll pass several traditional villages nestled in the High Atlas and take in the striking mountain landscapes. Next, we arrive at the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, renowned for its appearances in films such as Gladiator and TV series like Game of Thrones. After a lunch break in the small town of Ait Ben Haddou, we continue to Ouarzazate, an ancient city where you’ll have time to explore. Our journey then takes us to the fortified village of Kelaat M’Gouna, famous for its annual rose festival. We finish the day with a drive towards the dramatic Dadès Gorges, where you’ll check in and enjoy dinner at your chosen hotel before spending the night.
Day 3 - Merzouga
After breakfast, we drive to Todgha Gorge, a striking river canyon known for its vivid colours and dramatic cliffs—perfect for photography stops. Continuing on, we pause for lunch in Erfoud, which is included. Afterwards, we head to the dunes of Erg Chebbi, where you’ll switch to a sturdy 4x4 for a bumpy ride to Merzouga. Upon arrival, settle into your comfortable desert camp and watch the sunset from the top of the dunes. In the evening, enjoy a warm dinner around the campfire with the local Berber team, who will welcome you warmly. Overnight in Merzouga.
Day 4 - Merzouga - Rissani - Alnif - Tazzrine - Ouarzazate
You will rise early to witness a stunning sunrise from the top of a desert dune, an unforgettable start to the day. After breakfast, we drive to Rissani, the historic capital of Tafilalt, where members of the ancient Alawite dynasty are laid to rest. Continuing through the rugged terrain of Jbel Saghro, we reach the Berber town of Tazarine before stopping for lunch in N’kob Village. The journey then takes us through the lush Draa Valley, a striking oasis amid the desert landscape. Finally, we arrive in Ouarzazate, where you will check in to your hotel and spend the night.
Day 5 - Ouarzazate - Marrakech - Marrakech
After breakfast, we explore Ouarzazate with a guided tour, visiting the former Pacha el-Glaoui Palace and the 17th-century Taourirt Kasbah. Following a lunch break (included), we drive back into the Atlas Mountains, ascending the Tizi-n-Test pass, where you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views. Descending from the mountains, we arrive in Marrakech by early evening, around 19:00, and check in to your hotel for the night.
Day 6 - Marrakech - Marrakech
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Marrakech Airport according to your scheduled flight time. This marks the end of your tour, and you’ll have the chance to say farewell to Morocco as you prepare for your onward journey. Breakfast is included.
