Day 1 - Toronto
Welcome to Toronto – we transfer you to the hotel and leave time to settle in. During the afternoon you will receive details about the tour start, or you can consult the information panels at reception.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Toronto
After breakfast, we set off on a city tour taking in Chinatown, City Hall, the Financial District, the Eaton Centre, Casa Loma and other key sights. In the afternoon you can visit the CN Tower, shop at the Eaton Centre or wander the Underground City – 25 km of shopping arcades beneath the financial district. In the evening, we head to Queens Quay, a lively waterfront area full of restaurants – you have time for dinner.
Day 3 - Toronto - Niagara-on-the-Lake - Niagara Falls
After breakfast, we travel to the charming town of Niagara–on–the–Lake for a leisurely stroll. We continue to Niagara Falls, pausing for photos at the Floral Clock before boarding the Hornblower Niagara Cruise to the foot of the falls. You then have free time for the Clifton Hill attractions. We arrive at our hotel in Niagara Falls in the late afternoon.
Day 4 - Niagara Falls - Detroit
We continue through Canada to Windsor and pause at the Riverfront for views of Detroit. We then visit the Henry Ford Museum – admission included – followed by a tour of Detroit. In the evening, we spend time in lively Greektown for dinner before returning to the hotel.
Day 5 - Detroit - Saugatuck - Chicago
We depart early, crossing Michigan to reach Saugatuck, where you have time to browse the shops and have lunch. We continue to Chicago and in the afternoon we transfer to Millennium Park and The Loop with its theatres and spectacular neon – you have time for dinner and an evening at leisure.
Day 6 - Chicago
After breakfast, we take a panoramic tour covering Millennium Park, Willis Tower, Grant Park, The Loop’s elevated train, Downtown and the Museum Campus with the Adler Planetarium, the Field Museum and the Shedd Aquarium. We cross bridges over the Chicago River and enjoy skyline views from the lakefront. The rest of the morning is free – you can explore the city centre or head up Willis Tower. You then have time for lunch and Navy Pier, the city’s leisure hub since 1916. You may also choose an architecture cruise on the Chicago River.
Day 7 - Chicago - Los Angeles
At the time advised by the guide, we transfer to the airport for an included domestic flight to Los Angeles. On arrival, we provide a transfer to the hotel. Your guide will contact you by late afternoon, or you can consult the information at reception. On domestic flights the usual checked allowance is one bag up to 23 kg – any excess is payable directly to the airline. Welcome to Los Angeles – you have free time.
Day 8 - Los Angeles
After breakfast, we include a panoramic tour of the city – the Music Center, Civic Centre and Financial District via LA Live and the Staples Center. We continue along Wilshire Boulevard, passing Koreatown on our way to Beverly Hills, then follow Sunset Boulevard to Hollywood to see the Walk of Fame, the Dolby Theatre, the Chinese Theatre and the Hollywood sign. You have free time to stroll and have lunch. Late in the afternoon, we transfer to Long Beach, with time in Shoreline Village to walk and dine opposite the Queen Mary.
Day 9 - Los Angeles - Las Vegas
We depart Los Angeles for Las Vegas, Nevada. On arrival, we tour Downtown and the famous Strip, home to the hotels, casinos and shows that have made the city an adult playground. At night, you may opt for the Night of Lights tour. This sector may operate on a regular intercity bus.
Day 10 - Las Vegas - Grand Canyon - Flagstaff
We leave early for Arizona, stopping in Seligman on historic Route 66, then continue to the Grand Canyon – park entrance included. With our guide we visit Bright Angel viewpoint and Mather Point, both more than 2,000 metres above the river. You may choose an optional flight over the canyon. We transfer to the hotel in the late afternoon.
Day 11 - Flagstaff - Las Vegas
After breakfast, we return to Nevada, passing the Hoover Dam – we view it from the coach without stopping – and pausing en route for lunch. Back in Las Vegas, we include transport to one of the city’s popular outlets. The evening is free – you can take in a concert, a theatre show or Cirque du Soleil.
Day 12 - Las Vegas
After breakfast, our services conclude – we hope to see you again.

'Shared' prices are for solo travellers who are happy to share with another solo traveller of the same sex in a twin room - a single room will be provided at no additional cost if there are no suitable travellers to share with.
