Day 1 - Hangzhou
On arrival at Hangzhou Airport, a local representative greets us and transfers us directly to the hotel. In the afternoon, we explore the West Lake scenic area, where tranquil waters, willow–lined paths and misty hills set a classic Hangzhou scene. We visit Viewing Fish at Flower Pond (Huagang Guanyu), famed for koi–filled ponds and beautifully landscaped gardens. In the evening, you can dine in the Hubin Business District at your own expense – a lively area with modern eateries and lakeside ambience. We then stroll with our guide along Hubin Pedestrian Street, a stylish shopping corridor with tax–free boutiques, illuminated storefronts and a vibrant night–time atmosphere. Overnight in Hangzhou.
Day 2 - Hangzhou
After breakfast, we visit the Liangzhu Museum to explore artefacts and stories from one of the region’s earliest Neolithic civilisations, then enjoy a peaceful stroll through the Liangzhu Ancient City Ruins Park. We continue to the Jingshan Tea Culture Experience Centre to take part in a traditional Jingshan Tea Banquet and discover the refined Song–dynasty art of tea whisking (Dian Cha). Overnight in Hangzhou.
Day 3 - Hangzhou
After breakfast, we visit historic Gongchen Bridge, a landmark overlooking one of the oldest stretches of the Grand Canal. We stroll through the charming Qiaoxi Zhijie Historic Street Block, lined with traditional architecture and local boutiques, before a hands–on workshop at the Grand Canal Handicraft Living Museum, where we craft our own traditional paper umbrella. In the afternoon, we travel to Meijiawu Tea Village to explore its lush plantations and gain insight into the centuries–old cultivation and production techniques behind Hangzhou’s renowned teas. Overnight in Hangzhou.
Day 4 - Hangzhou
After breakfast, we visit the famous Lingyin Temple, renowned for intricate carvings and a serene atmosphere. We then explore the adjoining Feilai Peak scenic area, where ancient grottoes and stone inscriptions reveal centuries of spiritual and cultural history. After the visit, you depart from Hangzhou to continue your journey.
