Day 1 - Nanjing - Nan Jing Shi
Upon arrival at Nanjing International Airport or Nanjing Railway Station, you will be met by an English-speaking guide who will assist with your transfer to the city. A private transfer of approximately 30 minutes will take you directly to your hotel in Nanjing. If you prefer to rest after your journey, you are welcome to relax and enjoy the hotel’s facilities. Alternatively, you may wish to take a stroll through the city’s charming streets and soak up its distinctive atmosphere. Overnight in Nanjing.
Day 2 - Nanjing - Nan Jing Shi
After breakfast, we will collect you from the hotel lobby at around 8:30 for a full-day tour of Nanjing. Our first stop is the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum on the eastern side of Purple Mountain, a revered site dedicated to Dr Sun Yat-sen, the founding father of the Republic of China. Next, we visit Linggu Temple, one of Nanjing’s most celebrated scenic spots. Following lunch at a local restaurant, included in the tour, we continue to Meiling Palace, the Xiaoling Mausoleum of the Ming Dynasty, and the Confucius Temple, a historic site honouring the great philosopher and educator. We return to the hotel in the late afternoon, leaving the evening free for you to relax or explore independently.
Day 3 - Nanjing - Nan Jing Shi
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day at leisure to explore Nanjing at your own pace. Immerse yourself in the city’s rich history, shaped by numerous Chinese dynasties, and soak up its timeless atmosphere. Alternatively, you may choose from several optional tours. The full-day Yangzhou excursion departs at 8:00 am and includes visits to Slender West Lake, a scenic man-made lake, He Garden—an exquisite Qing Dynasty private garden—and the Museum of Guangling King’s Tomb, dating back over two thousand years. Lunch is included. For a full-day Nanjing sightseeing tour starting at 9:00 am, discover Yuejiang Tower, the Yangtze River Bridge—China’s first heavy bridge designed and built by Chinese engineers—and the East Zhonghua Gate Historical Culture Block, offering insight into the city’s dynastic heritage. Alternatively, the half-day Niushou Mountain excursion begins at 8:30 am, taking you to this distinctive twin-peaked mountain formed of igneous rock in the Jiangning District. Each tour returns by early afternoon or early evening, allowing you to relax back at your hotel overnight in Nanjing.
Day 4 - Nanjing - Nan Jing Shi
After breakfast, you will check out of the hotel. At the arranged time, your guide will meet you in the hotel lobby and accompany you, along with the driver, to Nanjing International Airport or Nanjing Railway Station for your onward journey.
