Itinerary
Day 1 - Medellin
You’ll be collected from your hotel in Medellín at the agreed time and transferred to Hacienda Corazón de León, a traditional family–owned coffee farm with over 60 years of coffee–growing heritage.
On arrival, sample a welcome tasting and you can choose to don traditional farmer attire – poncho, hat and rubber boots. With a local expert, you stroll the plantations to uncover the journey from seed to cup – germination, harvest, processing and drying. You then enjoy a barista–led presentation of brewing methods and the distinctive flavours of the region’s coffee. After the experience, return to your hotel in Medellín for the night.
Day 2 - Medellin
You begin in El Poblado at an urban dance academy to pick up the basics of reggaeton, then wander through Provenza – one of Medellín’s trendiest quarters with a creative, cultural buzz. You continue to Barrio Alfonso López, a key spot in the genre’s local history, for a freestyle showcase by resident artists.
Next, visit the Casa Gardeliana Museum to explore Carlos Gardel’s legacy and tango’s imprint on the city, before travelling by metro to Comuna 13, famed for vibrant street art, music and powerful social transformation. During your visit you join a graffiti workshop with a local artist, savour a cacao and coffee tasting, and round things off in a community music studio where you collaborate with local producers to record a bespoke track inspired by the day. At the agreed time, return to Medellín.
