Arrive at Pula Airport, where our local representative will welcome you and assist with your car hire, providing guidance for your departure day. Drive to your hotel and check in before exploring Pula, the largest town on the Istrian peninsula. The town offers a rich mix of cultural, historical, and gastronomic attractions. After a leisurely breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your drive towards Kvarner Bay. En route, stop in Opatija, a charming coastal town known for its elegant seafront and historic villas. We offer an optional two-hour guided tour here, allowing you to appreciate the town’s beautiful landscape and rich heritage. The Kvarner Gulf is renowned for its stunning beaches and varied scenery, making it a popular destination. You will spend the night in the Rijeka, Opatija or Lovran area.

After breakfast, continue your journey along the stunning Adriatic coast towards Split. Consider stopping in Zadar, a city where contemporary life blends seamlessly with a rich historical heritage. Take time to explore its vibrant centre, admire the architecture, and soak up the atmosphere. Alternatively, you may wish to visit Biograd na Moru or Šibenik, both excellent bases for excursions to Paklenica and Krka National Parks. Upon arrival in Split, check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing afternoon at a local café or unwind at your accommodation.

You may choose to explore independently or join our optional two-hour guided city tour to gain deeper insight into Split’s history and culture. After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Plitvice Lakes National Park, one of Croatia’s most remarkable natural sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After breakfast, check out of your hotel and continue your journey along the west coast of Istria towards Poreč.
