Day 1 - Prague
Welcome to Prague. Upon arrival at the airport, we will transfer you to your hotel. Please check the information boards in the hotel reception for details about the welcome meeting with your guide. This evening, we will take you to the bustling Old Town Square, where you can enjoy dinner at one of the many restaurants offering a range of international cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian. After dinner, we will transfer you back to the hotel.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour.
Day 2 - Prague
Today we explore Prague, often called the Baroque jewel of Europe. We begin with a guided panoramic tour highlighting the city’s most significant monuments. Included is a visit to Prague Castle, where you can discover its historic grounds and impressive architecture. Afterwards, we take a leisurely boat ride along the Vltava River, offering a unique view of the city. The afternoon is yours to enjoy at your own pace, whether you choose to explore the charming streets, visit museums, or relax in a café.
Day 3 - Prague - Munich - Innsbruck
We’ll set off early from Prague, travelling to Bavaria in Germany. Arriving in Munich around midday, you’ll have free time to explore the historic city centre at your own pace and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, we continue onward to Austria, reaching Innsbruck nestled in the heart of the Alps. Here, you’ll have time to wander through the Old Town, including the area around the Golden Roof, before dinner.
Day 4 - Innsbruck - Zurich
Begin the day with a visit to the Swarovski Museum, renowned for its exquisite crystal creations. We’ll explore the museum’s impressive gardens and discover the techniques behind the making of these sparkling masterpieces. Afterwards, enjoy some free time to wander around Innsbruck before we depart for Zurich. The journey offers beautiful views of the Tyrolean landscape as we travel. On arrival in Zurich, you’ll spend the evening in the historic city centre by the lake, where a wide selection of restaurants awaits, featuring Indian, Oriental, Italian, international and Swiss cuisine.
Day 5 - Zurich - Lucerne - Zurich
Today we travel through some of Switzerland’s most striking landscapes, featuring towering mountains and crystal-clear lakes. We’ll begin in the Interlaken region with a stop in Grindelwald, where we’ll pause for a coffee before taking a cable car up the mountain. From the summit, we’ll follow a winding path to a suspended bridge, which adventurous travellers may cross to enjoy outstanding views of the surrounding glaciers. Lunch on the mountain is included. Afterwards, we’ll descend and continue to Lucerne, one of Switzerland’s most picturesque cities, where you’ll have time to explore and take in the charming streets and lakeside setting at your own pace. We’ll then return to Zurich for the evening. There is also an optional full-day excursion available—starting in the morning—that includes free time in Lucerne followed by a rotating cable car ride to the peak of Mount Titlis, over 3,000 metres above sea level, offering spectacular glacier and Alpine vistas.
Day 6 - Zurich - Bellinzona - Como - Milan
We depart Zurich early, crossing the Alps to reach the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. Our first stop is Bellinzona, famed for its three medieval castles, which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These castles, perched on the surrounding hills, reflect Bellinzona’s role as an important alpine stronghold. You’ll have some free time to explore the charming streets of the town centre. Next, we cross into Italy and pause in Como for lunch. Known as the jewel of Lombardy, Como boasts beautiful lakeside gardens and an impressive cathedral. Afterwards, we continue to Milan, where our guide will lead us to the striking Piazza del Duomo. You’ll have some time to explore before we transfer you to your hotel for the evening.
Day 7 - Milan - Pisa - Rome
Today we travel from Milan to Pisa. Upon arrival, we’ll take a short ride on a tourist train to the Piazza dei Miracoli, where you’ll have time to admire this remarkable complex, including the iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa. Later, we continue to Rome, arriving in the evening for the next stage of our journey.
Day 8 - Rome
We begin the day with a three-hour guided tour of Rome, combining a walking exploration of Imperial Rome with a panoramic coach ride through the city. We will see iconic sights including the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum, the Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, the Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant’Angelo. The tour concludes at Vatican City around 11:00 a.m., after which you can choose to join an optional visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Later in the evening, we provide transfer to Trastevere, a vibrant neighbourhood renowned for its welcoming restaurants and lively atmosphere. You can enjoy dinner here before returning to the hotel around 8:30 p.m.
Day 9 - Rome
After breakfast, our tour concludes, giving you time to reflect on the memorable experiences you’ve enjoyed throughout your journey.
