It is said that Alexander the Great himself visited the temple at Siwa to be declared a son of Amun. The Catacombs in Alexandria

The Catacombs in Alexandria is one of the largest known underground tombs in Egypt. The catacombs are unique in that that blend together Egyptian, Roman and Greek cultures. For example, you can find statues made in the Egyptian style but wearing Roman clothes. To date three sarcophagi have been found in the tombs as well as other remains of both humans and animals. There are three floors of the catacombs, the lowest was completely submerged in water until restorations removed the water so that the lower lever could be explored. Some of the walls have tombs carved into them whilst the others covered in ancient stone carvings which you can see as you explore the many different rooms of the catacombs.
The Montaza Palace

Built in 1892 the Montaza palace is a beautiful structure built overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Built for the last member of the Muhammad Ail Dynasty the palace has been turned into a museum and gardens for visitors to enjoy. The gardens are full of beautiful roses and towering palm trees, it’s the perfect place to take a stroll in warm Egyptian weather. Take in the lush scenery as you spend the day connecting with nature and appreciating the Egyptian architecture of the palace.
Kom Ombo

The Temple of Kom Ombo is unique because it is a double temple, dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon-headed god. The construction of the temple began around 2 Century BCE and is one of the few Egyptian temples that is dedicated to two Gods. The temple has an incredibly unique design being built symmetrically, with two separate entrances, halls, sanctuaries, and hypostyle halls for each of the gods. The temple is adorned with elaborate carvings, reliefs, and inscriptions that depict various religious scenes, myths, and rituals, making it a must-see on a trip to Egypt. One of the fascinating aspects of the Temple of Kom Ombo is its association with crocodiles. Sobek, the crocodile god, was worshipped there, and the temple was home to live crocodiles, which were considered sacred animals. Visitors to the temple can also visit the small crocodile museum nearby, which has a collection mummified crocodiles that were once worshipped in ancient times.
