Day 1 - Berlin
Upon arrival in Berlin, we’ll transfer you to your hotel, where you will have some time to settle in and relax at your own pace. Later in the afternoon, you can find important information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you wish.
Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour.
Day 2 - Berlin
We begin the day with a guided panoramic tour of Berlin, exploring the city’s historic centre and key landmarks including Museum Island, the Reichstag, and the Brandenburg Gate. We’ll also visit the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Memorial Museum, offering insight into significant moments of the city’s past. Alongside the bustling shopping streets and beautiful parks, the tour provides a comprehensive introduction to Germany’s vibrant capital. You may also choose to join an optional excursion to Potsdam to see its impressive palaces.
Day 3 - Berlin - Dresden - Prague
We travel through forested landscapes en route to Dresden, a city celebrated for its remarkable architectural and artistic heritage, making it one of Germany’s foremost cultural destinations. You’ll have some time to explore notable palaces and enjoy lunch at one of the many local restaurants or cafés. Later, we continue to the Czech Republic, arriving in Prague. We’ll visit the bustling Old Town Square, an energetic hub perfect for your first glimpse of the city. Afterward, you can choose from a variety of restaurants offering international and local cuisines before we return to the hotel.
Day 4 - Prague
We’ll explore Prague, often called the Baroque jewel of Europe, beginning with a panoramic tour led by a local guide who will highlight the city’s most remarkable monuments. Our visit includes admission to Prague Castle, an imposing historic complex that has played a central role in Czech history. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a boat ride on the Vltava River, offering a unique perspective of the city’s skyline. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to discover more of Prague at your own pace.
Day 5 - Prague - Munich - Innsbruck
We depart early and travel to Bavaria, Germany, arriving in Munich around midday. You’ll have free time to explore the historic city centre and enjoy lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, we continue to Austria, reaching Innsbruck nestled in the heart of the Alps. There will be time to explore the city, including the iconic Golden Roof area and the Old Town, where you can also enjoy dinner before the evening concludes.
Day 6 - Innsbruck - Zurich
We begin the day with a visit to the Swarovski Museum, renowned for its exquisite crystal creations. We’ll explore the museum’s impressive gardens and gain insight into the craftsmanship behind Swarovski’s iconic pieces. Afterwards, you’ll have some free time to wander the area before we depart for Zurich. The journey offers beautiful views of the Tyrolean Alps along the way. Upon arrival, spend the evening in Zurich’s historic city centre by the lake, where a variety of restaurants serve Indian, Oriental, Italian, international and Swiss cuisine for your dining choice.
Day 7 - Zurich - Lucerne - Zurich
Today we depart Zurich and journey through some of Switzerland’s most striking alpine scenery towards the Interlaken region, nestled between two pristine lakes and towering mountains. Our first stop is Grindelwald, where we take a moment for coffee before boarding a cable car to the mountain. From there, we walk along a winding trail to a suspended bridge offering spectacular views of the surrounding glaciers—crossing it is an option for those seeking an adventurous vantage point. Lunch is included on the mountain. In the afternoon, we visit Lucerne, renowned for its charming old town and lakeside setting, where you can explore at your own pace before we return to Zurich. There is an optional full-day excursion available, starting in the morning: following free time in Lucerne, we take a rotating cable car to the summit of Mount Titlis, over 3,000 metres above sea level, for exceptional views of the glacier and Alps.
Day 8 - Zurich - Bellinzona - Como - Milan
We depart Zurich early, crossing the Alps into the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland. Our first stop is Bellinzona, known for its three medieval castles that are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. These hilltop fortresses reflect Bellinzona’s historical role as a key alpine stronghold. You’ll have some free time to explore the charming old town before we continue into Italy. In Como, often called the jewel of Lombardy, we pause for lunch beside the beautiful lakeside gardens and the striking cathedral. Later, we arrive in Milan, where our guide will take us to the impressive Piazza del Duomo. After some time to explore the area, we transfer you to the hotel for the evening.
Day 9 - Milan - Pisa - Rome
We continue our journey to Pisa, where we’ll take a short tourist train ride to the Piazza dei Miracoli, also known as the Square of Miracles. Here, you’ll have time to admire this remarkable complex, which includes the renowned Leaning Tower of Pisa, a highlight of Italian art and architecture. Later, we’ll travel on to Rome, arriving in the evening.
Day 10 - Rome
We begin the day with a three-hour guided tour of Rome, blending a walking exploration of Imperial Rome with a panoramic coach ride to take in the city’s iconic sights. You’ll see landmarks such as the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum and Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius and Castel Sant’Angelo. The tour concludes at Vatican City around 11:00 a.m., where you can choose to join an optional visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Later in the afternoon, we’ll transfer you to the vibrant Trastevere district, known for its charming restaurants and lively atmosphere. We return to the hotel at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Day 11 - Rome
After breakfast, your tour concludes, leaving you with lasting memories of your time in Rome and beyond.
