Itinerary
Day 1 - Athens - Delphi
We depart Athens and travel through Thebes and Levadia, stopping briefly in the charming village of Arachova before reaching the slopes of Mount Parnassus. Here, we visit the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios, including the Treasury of the Athenians and the Temple of Apollo, followed by a tour of the museum. The afternoon is free for you to explore at your own pace. We conclude the day with dinner and an overnight stay in Delphi.
Day 2 - Delphi - Kalabaka - Kalabaka
After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning at your hotel. Later, we travel from Delphi through Central Greece, passing the town of Lamia before arriving in Kalambaka. Dinner and overnight accommodation are arranged in Kalambaka.
Day 3 - Kalabaka - Athens
After breakfast, we visit Meteora, a remarkable site where ancient monasteries sit atop towering rock formations, offering a unique glimpse of Byzantine art amid dramatic scenery. We then return to Athens, travelling through Trikala, Lamia, and making a brief stop at Thermopylae to see the monument to King Leonidas. We continue via Kammena Vourla, arriving in Athens early evening.
