Hubli to Anshi & Goa Coast

From Hubli Airport, we set off on a scenic drive to Anshi National Park (Kali Tiger Reserve) – about 130 kilometres, roughly 3 hours through the Western Ghats. On arrival, we check in and settle into our hotel amid lush greenery and rugged terrain. Later, we head out on a safari, tracing forest tracks and the banks of the Kali River. As dusk falls, we savour dinner to the sounds of the wilderness before turning in for the night. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, we set out on a second jeep safari in Anshi National Park (Kali Tiger Reserve), exploring its varied habitats and keeping watch for wildlife – including the Bengal tiger – within the dense forest. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can add an optional white water rafting session on the Kali River.After the safari and any optional activities, we drive to Goa – about 140 kilometres, taking approximately 3 hours – and check in to your hotel. The evening is yours to browse local markets or relax by the pool. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, we set out to explore the historic heart of Old Goa. We visit the UNESCO–listed Basilica of Bom Jesus, a 16th–century church that houses the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier, then continue to St. Cathedral and the Church of Our Lady of Rosary for further insight into Goa’s colonial past. We tour Aguada Fort – set high above the Arabian Sea – and take in views from its ancient ramparts. In South Goa, we visit Mangueshi Temple and Shanta Durga Temple, appreciating their distinctive Goan temple architecture and living traditions. Later, we follow the coastline to Calangute, Dona Paula, Miramar and Baga, with time to stroll the sands, enjoy the sea breeze and, if conditions allow, watch the sunset. We return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, we leave the day at leisure for you to enjoy Goa at your own pace. You can stretch out on the sand, take a dip in the sea or focus on personal interests, and you may also choose to explore the local culture – or simply unwind and recharge. After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel, you can soak up Goa’s relaxed atmosphere one last time. We’ll arrange your transfer to the airport – timed to your flight – so you depart with fond memories of your adventures in Anshi National Park and Goa.
