Itinerary
Day 1 - Nairobi to the Masa Mara

Nairobi - Masai Mara. We collect you from your Nairobi hotel and drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve, stopping at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for a panoramic look across the valley floor. We arrive in time for lunch, then head out on an afternoon game drive.
The Mara is characterized by open grassland within the Great Rift Valley and is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing. Between July and November it hosts the annual wildebeest migration, when more than a million animals move through the reserve, and sightings of the Big Five are possible. We return to the lodge for dinner and time to rest. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Lodge or similar.
Day 2 - Full Day Masai Mara Game Drive

We spend a full day exploring the Maasai Mara on game drives in search of the Big Five and other wildlife. We pause for a picnic lunch inside the reserve – often by the banks of the Mara River – before continuing along the plains and riverbanks. At certain times of year this landscape hosts the Great Migration, when huge herds of wildebeest and zebra move up from the Serengeti, closely followed by predators such as lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals and vultures.
You can add optional experiences at your own cost – an early morning balloon safari over the Mara (USD 540 per person) before rejoining the day’s programme, or an evening visit to a local Maasai village for a cultural tour (USD 20 per person).
We return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Lodge or similar.
Day 3 - Return to Nairobi

Masai Mara - Nairobi. After an early breakfast, we check out and drive back to Nairobi – stopping en route at Travellers Motel for a simple complimentary lunch. On arrival, we drop you at your Nairobi hotel or at the airport for your onward flight.
