Explore the Malaysian capital's landmarks, from the Petronas Twin Towers observation deck to the ancient limestone caverns of Batu Caves, before wandering Chinatown's market streets and the colonial-era grandeur of Merdeka Square. From here, fly to Bali and settle into Tegallalang, surrounded by terraced rice fields near Ubud. A full day of touring follows, taking in Ubud's water palace, historic royal grounds, the Monkey Forest sanctuary and the woodcarving village of Mas, before continuing south. The tour ends with five nights based in South Bali.

Day 1 - Welcome to Kuala Lumpur
Once you have arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, a private car is on hand to take you to your accommodation in Kuala Lumpur city centre, with pick-up set for 12 pm. This is a straightforward meet-and-greet transfer, so a representative rather than a guide will be waiting for you.
With the rest of the day free, you could wander the shops and food stalls of the nearby Bukit Bintang area, or simply settle in after your flight.
Day 2 - Kuala Lumpur City Tour
This morning, a private driver-guide collects you at 10 am for an 8-hour tour of Kuala Lumpur's landmarks. You begin at Batu Caves, a Hindu temple set within limestone caves believed to be around 400 million years old and filled with statues and idols carved into the rock.
From here, you head to the Petronas Twin Towers, riding up to the Skybridge and observation deck around 170 metres above the ground for sweeping views across the city. The tour continues into Chinatown, where you can stroll the market streets and browse the food stalls and shops, before taking in Merdeka Square, the symbolic birthplace of Malaysian independence, home to a 95-metre flagpole - one of the tallest in the world - and a mix of colonial and modern architecture.
You then visit the Central Market for local handicrafts and Malaysian goods, and pause at the Lake Gardens for a quieter moment away from the city. The day continues to the National Mosque, set within 13 acres of gardens and built in the late 1950s as a symbol of the country's independence, and the National Monument, a sculpture commemorating those who died in Malaysia's struggle for freedom during the Japanese occupation and the Malayan Emergency.
You'll also see the Royal King's Palace, known for its golden domes and Islamic-style architecture, before finishing at the six-tiered Thean Hou Temple, built by the Hainanese community and dedicated to the goddess Tian Hou.

Day 3 - Travel to Tegallalang
After breakfast, a private car collects you from your accommodation at 7:40 am for the transfer to Kuala Lumpur International Airport, ready for your direct flight to Bali, taking around 3 hours 15 minutes.
On arrival at Ngurah Rai Airport in the early afternoon, a representative meets you for the private transfer to your accommodation in Tegallalang, around 11 km north of Ubud and known for its terraced rice fields.
Please note: Maximum waiting times of 60 minutes apply for your airport pick-up in Kuala Lumpur, and 120 minutes for your pick-up in Bali.
Day 4 - Free Day in Tegallalang
Today is left free for you to explore the area around your accommodation. You could take a walk among the terraced rice fields Tegallalang is known for, or head into nearby Ubud, around 11 km away, to browse its shops and galleries.
Day 5 - Ubud Touring to South Bali
After breakfast and checkout, your driver-guide meets you at the lobby for a full day of touring on the way to South Bali, taking in the sights around Ubud. The day begins at Pura Taman Saraswati, the Ubud Water Palace, a Balinese Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Sarasvati and known for its lotus pond, before continuing to Ubud Palace, once the official residence of Ubud's royal family.
From here, you visit the Ubud Monkey Forest, a forest sanctuary home to around 1,260 long-tailed macaques and three temples, before continuing south to the village of Mas, known for its woodcarving traditions and home to the mask carver gallery founded by the late Ida Bagus Sutarja.
The tour also passes through Batuan, a village known for its own temples and traditional dance performances, before your driver-guide drops you at your accommodation in South Bali.
Day 6 - Enjoy Beach Time in South Bali
The day starts free for you to enjoy South Bali as you wish. With white-sand beaches close by, this is a good chance to relax by the water or simply enjoy your accommodation's facilities.
Day 7 - South Bali at Leisure
In the morning, you're free to continue exploring the area. South Bali is home to a number of sacred temples, and a visit to one nearby makes for an easy outing if you fancy a change from the beach.
Day 8 - Relax in South Bali
Another free day awaits, with the option to unwind at your accommodation's spa and wellness facilities, or spend time by the pool.
Day 9 - Final Free Day in South Bali
Your final full day in South Bali is free to spend as you choose - browse the shops and restaurants of the area, or simply relax before your onward journey.
Day 10 - Goodbye South Bali
After breakfast, a representative collects you from your accommodation at 12 pm for the private transfer to Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport, bringing your tour to a close.
