Day 1 - Tangier
Upon your arrival in Tangier, you'll be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Our guide will reach out to you in the evening. Dinner is included, providing a perfect opportunity to unwind after your journey. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Tangier - Asilah - Rabat
On our second day, we will enjoy some leisure time in Tangier in the morning before heading south to explore Asilah. This enchanting, walled city on the Atlantic coast was once a thriving ancient port and a notorious pirate hideout, and it remains a vibrant and lively place today. We will take a leisurely walk through its delightful streets, soaking in the unique character and atmosphere. Later, we will proceed to Rabat, arriving in the evening where dinner awaits.
Day 3 - Rabat - Casablanca - El Jadida - Safi
Our day begins with a guided exploration of Rabat, a city rich in history and culture. We'll visit the grand Royal Palace, the resting place of Mohammed V at the mausoleum, and the impressive Kasbah of the Udayas. Around midday, we head to Casablanca. Here, we enjoy a brief but insightful tour, including a visit to the exterior of the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, one of the most prestigious mosques in the Arab world. Afterwards, you can enjoy lunch at your leisure in the vibrant maritime area known as "La Corniche." Our journey continues to El Jadida, home to the Portuguese citadel of Mazagan – a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We’ll take a stroll through the historical streets, marked by Portuguese influences like the Manueline-style Church of the Assumption. Admission to the old sixteenth-century cistern is included, although note that it is currently closed for restoration with plans to reopen later this season. We proceed onwards to Safi, where we’ll arrive in the evening for dinner.
Day 4 - Safi - Essaouira - Agadir
On Day 4, we'll explore the city of Safi, known throughout Morocco for its ceramics, celebrated for their vibrant hues and exceptional quality. We'll capture the stunning Castle of the Sea and its formidable fortress walls with our cameras, wander through the enchanting Medina, and visit the Hill of the Potters, a hub of countless shops displaying intricate pottery.Afterward, we continue our journey to Essaouira, famed for its sea-facing, UNESCO-listed walled Medina. This exquisitely maintained city is a haven for artists and painters. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely lunch and stroll through the narrow streets, observing the charming whitewashed houses and the sturdy walls that stand resilient against the crashing waves.Post-lunch, our travels proceed along the Atlantic coast, offering splendid views of the landscapes. We will pause briefly in Taghazout, a quaint fishing village favoured by surfers, before heading to Agadir, where we will arrive in the evening for our accommodation. Dinner will be included.
Day 5 - Agadir
On your final day in Agadir, enjoy a leisurely morning at Morocco’s premier beach destination. You have the freedom to relax on its expansive sandy shores, take a scenic stroll along the seafront promenade, or explore the diverse shopping opportunities available in the bustling retail areas. As our journey concludes, we hope you take with you wonderful and lasting memories. Remember to verify your flight schedule, as you may need to consider an additional night's stay if required.
