You’ll begin by exploring the seaside city of Almería before heading to Lanjarón, famed for its healing spa waters. Then it’s on to Baeza, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with stunning Renaissance architecture. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to visit natural parks brimming with wildlife and discover the historic city of Jaén, known as the World Capital of Olive Oil. The trip wraps up back in Almería, where you can relax on beautiful Mediterranean beaches before heading home.

Itinerary
Day 1 - Almeria - Lanjarón
Arrive at Almeria airport and collect your hire car, with a representative from the rental company providing all necessary information for your departure. From the airport, drive to the coastal city of Almeria, known for its rich Moorish heritage and a history that includes serving as a backdrop for Hollywood films. Afterwards, continue your journey to Lanjarón, where you will spend the night.
Day 2 - Lanjarón
After breakfast at the hotel, spend the day enjoying Lanjaron, renowned as Andalusia’s premier spa town. Its mineral-rich waters are reputed to ease conditions such as rheumatism, arthritis, and liver or kidney ailments. Take time to relax and appreciate the town’s peaceful atmosphere before overnighting in Lanjaron.
Day 3 - Lanjarón - Baeza
After breakfast at the hotel, take time to explore the charming streets of Lanjaron. The town offers plenty to see and do throughout the year. Enjoy sampling the local cuisine, admire the traditional hillside architecture of La Alpujarra, and wander through the well-tended gardens. If you prefer, you can set out on a forest hike nearby. Along the main street, browse small shops selling handcrafted pottery and wicker goods. In the evening, you will travel to Baeza for your overnight stay.
Day 4 - Baeza
After breakfast at the hotel, leave behind the tranquillity and healing waters of Lanjaron as we travel north. We pass through the historic city of Granada before arriving in Baeza. Along with its neighbour Úbeda, Baeza is one of the most beautiful towns in Jaén province and both are recognised as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The towns feature impressive Renaissance palaces and churches dating from the 16th and 17th centuries, offering a rich glimpse into Spain’s architectural heritage. We stay overnight in Baeza.
Day 5 - Baeza - Granada
After breakfast at the hotel, you have the option to visit Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas Natural Park – Spain’s largest protected area and the second largest in Europe. Here, you can experience diverse wildlife and rich plant life in a stunning natural setting. Alternatively, you may choose to explore Jaen, the provincial capital known as the ‘World Capital of Olive Oil’. Jaen offers a wealth of history and distinctive architecture to discover. In the evening, you will stay overnight in Granada.
Day 6 - Granada - Almeria
After breakfast, we drive back to Almeria, returning to the starting point of your journey. You have the day at leisure to enjoy the city’s beautiful coastline—relax on one of the many excellent beaches and take a refreshing swim in the warm Mediterranean Sea. When ready, you will return your car and make your way to the airport for your departure flight.
