On arrival at Phuket or Krabi International Airport, make your way to the designated meeting point – we’ll meet you there. Recommended flights are TG201 BKK–HKT 07:40–09:05 or TG241 BKK–KBV 08:00–09:20. To enjoy today’s included services, you must arrive before 10:00 am – after this time no transportation will be available, and lunch and the afternoon activity will not be provided. At Phuket International Airport, domestic arrivals at Terminal 2 should proceed to the meeting point after collecting luggage. International arrivals at Terminal 1 should go to the arrivals hall to meet our representative, who will escort you to the main meeting point at Terminal 2. At Krabi International Airport, we’ll meet you in the arrivals hall – look for the sign.We transfer by road to Trang, stopping en route for lunch at a local restaurant – included. Arriving in the early afternoon, check in to the hotel before we head out to Khao Phanom Bencha National Park. We then continue to Wat Tham Sua, a hilltop cave temple with far-reaching views, before returning to the hotel later in the afternoon to rest. Overnight in Trang.

After an early breakfast at the hotel, we transfer to Pak Meng Pier for a full day boat trip to Koh Kradan and Koh Mook, with a visit to Emerald Cave – weather permitting. We cruise between the islands, taking in the scenery of white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters. A tasty lunch is served on board – included. In the afternoon, we return to Pak Meng Pier and transfer back to the hotel in Trang. Overnight in Trang.

After breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Tham Le Khao Kob Cave in Huai Yot district, a noted ecotourism site explored by boat. At points the ceiling is very low, so we lie flat in the boat to pass – an exciting experience but not ideal if you are uncomfortable in confined spaces. If you have concerns about claustrophobia, please speak with the tour escort before entering the cave. After the visit, we continue to Phatthalung, stopping en route for lunch at a local restaurant – included. We then follow the valley lake for peaceful panoramic views and arrive at the hotel in the afternoon. Overnight in Phatthalung.

Rise early for a visit to Thale Noi Lake, one of Thailand’s key wetland ecosystems. In season, you may see the surface dotted with lotus and water lilies. We then return to the resort for breakfast before driving north towards Nakhon Si Thammarat. En route we pause at Baan Kiri Wong – the village surrounded by the mountains – to take in the fresh air. A tasty lunch at a local restaurant is included along the way. We arrive in Nakhon Si Thammarat in the afternoon, one of the country’s oldest cities.Overnight in Nakhon Si Thammarat.

After breakfast, we visit Wat Phra Mahathat – considered Thailand’s oldest temple – then continue to the shadow puppet museum at the former home of master Suchart Subsin to learn about the region’s shadow theatre. We travel on towards Khao Luang National Park, known for its mountain and forest trails, streams and waterfalls, and take in the scenery. Reaching the Khanom area, we climb the 300 steps to the entrance of Tham Khao Wang Tong, a limestone–iron ore cave with chambers of distinctive stalagmites and stalactites. A tasty lunch is included en route at a local restaurant. We arrive at the hotel in the afternoon. Overnight in Khanom.

After breakfast at the hotel, we drive from Khanom to Surat Thani, where we board a traditional longtail boat for a relaxed trip along the River Tapi to observe local life along the banks. Lunch at a local restaurant is included. We then drop you at your Surat Thani hotel or at Surat Thani International Airport at around 02:00 pm. To use the included departure airport transfer, please book flights departing after 04:00 pm – no transportation is available for earlier departures. From here, you can continue with your onward plans.
