Itinerary
Day 1 - Antalya
On arrival at Antalya airport, collect your car and drive to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the city at your own pace. Overnight in Antalya.
Day 2 - Antalya - Alanya
After breakfast at your hotel, check out and drive towards Alanya, passing through Aksu, Serik and Manavgat. En route, visit the ancient city of Perge, known for its well-preserved Roman ruins, and take a short detour to the Kurşunlu Waterfalls, a peaceful natural spot. Close to the main road, stop at Aspendos to explore its remarkable Roman amphitheatre, still used today for concerts and performances. Continue to the charming old town of Side, where you can wander among ancient excavations set on a scenic headland. After these visits, proceed to your hotel in the Alanya area for your overnight stay.
Day 3 - Alanya - Kizkalesi
After breakfast, explore Alanya, starting with the impressive castle hill known as Kale, or relax at Kleopatra Beach. Then follow the coastal road towards Gazipaşa and Anamur, where the banana plantations and winding mountain roads offer stunning views of the Mediterranean and the Taurus Mountains. Just outside Anamur, visit Mamure Castle, a well-preserved medieval fortress. Continue to Silifke, a town on the banks of the Göksu River, before heading to your hotel in Kızkalesi. In this region, you may wish to visit the Cennet and Cehennem caves—two notable subterranean caves linked to Greek mythology—and the nearby underground chapel at Narlıkuyu. Another highlight is Adamkayalar, an archaeological site featuring unique rock reliefs in the Devil’s Creek Valley. Finally, don’t miss Kız Kalesi, or Maiden’s Castle, a striking 12th-century Byzantine fortress situated on an island just offshore, popular for photography and exploration. Overnight in Kızkalesi.
Day 4 - Kizkalesi - Cavusin
After breakfast, drive to Cappadocia via Tarsus. Along the way, visit the Gümüşler Monastery and explore one of the remarkable underground cities—Derinkuyu, Kaymakli or Mazi. These subterranean complexes offer a fascinating glimpse into ancient life. Continue to Cappadocia and check in to your hotel. This region, shaped by volcanic activity, is renowned for its striking landscapes, early Christian sites and cave churches. Wine growing is also an important part of the local heritage. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 5 - Cavusin
After breakfast, we explore Cappadocia, beginning with the open-air museum at Göreme, renowned for its rock-cut churches adorned with ancient frescoes. Following this, we take a hike through the region’s distinctive valleys, with routes ranging from easy to moderately challenging, offering striking views of the unique volcanic landscape. You will spend the night in Cappadocia.
Day 6 - Cavusin
After breakfast, continue exploring Cappadocia’s unique “moon landscape.” We visit the traditional village of Soğanlı and the striking Red Valley, followed by Avanos, renowned for its pottery. The day includes visits to Ihlara Valley, Belisırma Valley, and the small village of Belisırma, as well as Bezirhane. You may also choose to explore other remarkable sites such as Zelve, Imagination Valley, Rose Valley, Pigeon Valley, Love Valley, the Three Beauties rock formations, Uçhisar Castle, and Çavuşin. Overnight in Cappadocia.
Day 7 - Antalya
After breakfast, we drive across the Anatolian plateau and then through the striking Taurus Mountains towards Antalya, passing through Konya. Along the way, we pause to admire Salt Lake (Tuz Gölü), visit the historic Sultanhani Caravanserai, and explore the Mevlana Rumi Museum in Konya, dedicated to the renowned 13th-century poet and mystic. We continue to Antalya and check in to your hotel for the evening.
Day 8 - Antalya
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and drive to Antalya Airport to return your car, concluding your journey.
