Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrival in Baku & Journey to Gabala – Into Azerbaijan’s Scenic Heart

Welcome to Baku. On arrival at Heydar Aliyev International Airport we meet you and transfer straight to Gabala – upon arrival we assist with hotel check in and drop you at your accommodation. Overnight in Gabala.
Day 2 - Gabala’s Natural Wonders – Lakes, Waterfalls & Mountain Adventures

We set off from your hotel in Gabala for a full day exploring the region’s natural highlights. Our first stop is Nohur Gol Lake – a tranquil spot surrounded by wooded hills – where we take time to enjoy the scenery along the shore. If you wish, you can hire a boat or catamaran to see the lake from the water.
We continue to Seven Beauties Waterfall, known locally as Yeddi Gözəl, where a series of cascades flows through a forested gorge. We pause for photos and to take in the setting before moving on to Tufandag Mountain Resort.
At Tufandag, we visit the resort area set among the mountains. You can choose to ride the cable car for wide views over the valley and try seasonal activities available on site. The tour concludes with a return transfer to your hotel – overnight in Gabala.
Day 3 - Sheki’s Timeless Heritage – Silk Road Treasures to Baku

We check out of the hotel in Gabala and set off for Sheki – a day centred on history and village life. We begin at the Palace of the Sheki Khans, an 18th century architectural monument within the old fortress walls, before exploring the Old Sheki Caravanserai complex – two 18th–19th century inns traditionally known as Yukhary and Ashaghy, meaning Upper and Lower Caravanserai.
The tour continues to Kish village to see the restored Albanian Church, now a trilingual museum. Back in Sheki, we take a short walking tour of the city centre with time for shopping, and your guide will highlight notable mosques, palaces, caravanserais and bazaars – you can also choose to sample regional cuisine. After the tour, we drive to Baku for hotel drop off and overnight.
Day 4 - Baku Revealed – From Ancient Old City to Modern Marvels

Baku City Tour. Today we trace the city’s past, present and future. We begin inside the Old City (Icherisheher), taking in the House of the Baku Khans, Multani Caravanserai, the Maiden Tower, St Bartholomew Church, Juma Mosque, Muhammad Mosque, Aga Mikayil Bath House, the Miniature Books Museum and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs. We then continue to Highland Park for a sweeping view of the skyline.
Next, we explore the Heydar Aliyev Centre’s art collections and changing exhibitions – a chance to learn more about the country’s recent history, the life of the former president and items connected with him. From here we head to Baku Boulevard to stroll the seafront and visit the Carpet Museum and Little Venice. The Carpet Museum holds over 10,000 objects, including ceramics, 14th‑century metalwork, Bronze Age jewellery, carpets and carpet pieces from the 17th to 20th centuries, national garments, embroidery and applied arts.
Along the boulevard you can take a boat tour on Baku Bay, try the entertainment attractions, choose a seafront restaurant or even rent a boat if you wish. We finish on Nizami Street and Fountain Square – the city’s main pedestrian shopping area – where you’ll find everything from small outlets and souvenir shops to supermarkets and upmarket brands. The tour ends with drop‑off at your hotel – overnight in Baku.
Day 5 - Gobustan’s Ancient Secrets & Baku by Night

Gobustan and Mud Volcanoes Tour – Panoramic Evening Baku
We pick you up from your hotel and begin at the Gobustan Museum, then continue to the open‑air petroglyph site to learn about prehistoric life and rock carvings dating back thousands of years. We then head to the Gobustan mud volcanoes to watch the bubbling cones – a striking, otherworldly landscape.
In the evening, we set out on a panoramic Baku tour. We visit Highland Park for sweeping city views, including the three Flame Towers, Martyrs’ Lane and the Eternal Flame Monument, and we take in sights such as Baku Crystal Hall, National Flag Square and the Baku Ferris Wheel. We finish with a return transfer to your hotel – overnight in Baku.
Day 6 - Land of Eternal Flames – Fire Temple & Burning Mountain

We pick you up from your Baku hotel and head to the Absheron Peninsula to explore its fire heritage. Our first stop is the Ateshgah Fire Temple – a castle like complex once used by Hindu, Sikh and Zoroastrian worshippers. Inscriptions record pilgrims from the north west of the Indian subcontinent travelling via the Grand Trunk Road, and the site reflects reverence for the four elements – fire, air, water and earth. Religious use ended in 1883 with the installation of petroleum plants at Surakhany.
We then continue to Yanar Dag – the Burning Mountain – around 27 km from Baku in the village of Mammadli, where a natural gas seep fuels a constant wall of flame that can reach up to 3 metres. Unlike mud volcanoes, the fire here burns steadily.
We return to the city centre, where you have free time to choose your own activities, before we drop you at your hotel for the night in Baku.
Day 7 - Farewell Azerbaijan – Departure from Baku

Check out from the hotel, then we’ll pick you up and transfer you to the airport for your departure – a straightforward drop-off to conclude your trip.
