Day 1 - Bahrain
Upon arrival at Bahrain's airport, we will be there to transfer you directly to your hotel, where you'll begin your journey in this vibrant destination. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Bahrain
Today, we embark on our journey through Bahrain, a country with historical significance despite its small size of 765 square kilometres. Our exploration begins at around 10:30 am with a visit to Manama, the vibrant capital. Here, we’ll discover the enchanting historic district of Muharraq, where pedestrian alleys lead us to some of the nation’s most exquisite historical buildings, including royal residences and the lavish homes of illustrious pearl merchants, all beautifully restored.Our coach will take us along the seafront where we’ll visit Beit Al Quran, a museum dedicated to the holy book of Islam, the Quran. We'll also venture into the Bahrain National Museum, a treasure trove of art, ethnography, and heritage that will provide us with a deeper understanding of Bahrain's pivotal role throughout history. You’ll then have free time to enjoy lunch in the mall's food court.In the afternoon, we’ll visit the grand Al-Fateh Mosque, the largest mosque in Bahrain. Afterwards, we will travel to Qalat Al Bahrain, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This impressive fortress by the sea dates back 4000 years, though the current structure was erected by the Portuguese. Our journey continues through one of the world’s major oil production regions, where we'll pause to see the country’s first oil extraction well. A stop at the "Tree of Life," a 500-year-old marvel standing solitary in the desert, will hallmark our day.Returning to Manama, you'll have time at leisure before we conclude our day with a stroll through the lively souk and a visit to Little India. Here, you’ll find enduring traditions, the Krishna Temple, and numerous enticing Indian eateries, in a neighbourhood that reflects the heritage of over 300,000 Bahraini residents of Indian origin. Please note that visit arrangements may vary.
Day 3 - Bahrain - Doha
Spend your morning in Bahrain at your leisure—stroll through the historic centre or explore one of its intriguing museums at your own pace. In the afternoon, we will transfer you to the airport for your included flight to Doha. Upon arriving in Qatar's capital, we will transfer you to your hotel. Afterwards, enjoy some free time to unwind or start discovering the vibrant city of Doha.
Day 4 - Doha
Today we explore the dynamic city of Doha, blending modernity with tradition. Our city tour begins at the Corniche, where we'll admire a stunning skyline of skyscrapers along the waterfront. We then visit the ultra-modern Al Thumama Stadium, a key venue for the 2022 World Cup. Next, we'll marvel at the architecture of the National Museum and enjoy a visit to the Museum of Islamic Art, home to the world's largest collection of Islamic art. We gain insight into Qatari traditions as we visit the Falcon Souq, understanding the cultural significance of falconry. A stroll through the Waqif Souq follows, allowing us to experience the ambience of a 19th-century market, near which we find stables housing Arabian horses. For lunch, we'll head to The Pearl Qatar, an impressive artificial archipelago. Here, we have time to explore Porto Arabia and stroll through Qanat, a shopping area reminiscent of Venice. Lunch is included. In the latter part of the day, we visit Katara, a cultural village with architectural wonders from around the globe, featuring a range of dining options, an opera, and an amphitheatre.
Day 5 - Doha - Dubai
On the fifth day, we arrange your transfer to the airport for a flight to Dubai, which is included in the tour. Upon landing, you'll be taken to your hotel, with some free time to explore at your leisure. In the evening, we head out to experience the vibrant nightlife of Dubai. Witness the captivating "Dubai Fountain" show, where water dances to music and lights. At the foot of the Burj Khalifa – the tallest tower globally at 828 metres – you'll have time to wander and dine at your own expense in the expansive Dubai Mall. The evening concludes with a return transfer to the hotel. Note that flights may land at Dubai or nearby airports like Sharjah or Abu Dhabi.
Day 6 - Dubai
Today, get ready to experience the wonders of Dubai with a day full of exploration. We begin with a visit to the renowned Dubai Frame, where you can marvel at the breathtaking vistas from the world's largest photo frame. We then move to the city's historic quarter, enjoying a leisurely walk through the Bur Dubai Souq and the Spice Souq. Crossing Dubai Creek via a traditional abra boat, we arrive at the Al Fahidi historical neighbourhood, where we visit the Centre for Cultural Understanding. Here, you’ll enjoy a traditional Emirati meal and, for groups exceeding 15, an insightful talk on the local cuisine.Our afternoon takes us past the grand Jumeirah Mosque as we continue our city tour. We will see the iconic sail-shaped Burj Al Arab Hotel and the man-made wonder of Palm Jumeirah, shaped like a palm tree. We'll also experience a ride on the sleek monorail and enjoy a stroll through the vibrant Marina area. Later, you'll have some free time to relax or explore further at the lively JBR Beach, known for its active atmosphere and stunning seaside views.
Day 7 - Dubai - Abu Dhabi
After breakfast, we head to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the Emirates. Our first stop will be at the famed Ferrari World, where we will admire the exterior of this popular theme park dedicated to the iconic Italian racing cars. Next, we will visit the magnificent Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the largest in the country, renowned for its stunning white architecture and cultural significance. We'll drive past the Capital Gate, the world's most inclined skyscraper, and enjoy a picturesque view from the Corniche along the beachfront. Our visit to the Heritage Village (with admission included) will offer insights into traditional life in the Emirates, featuring charming craft shops and small museums. A lunch awaits you in the city centre.In the afternoon, we will tour the opulent Qasr Al Watan, the presidential palace, which stands out with its exquisite white granite façade and elaborate interiors, highlighted by its 37-metre dome and an intricate glass chandelier. Afterwards, we travel to the cultural district, home to several notable museums, including the stirring Louvre Abu Dhabi. You will have the opportunity to explore one of the museums or spend leisure time in this artistic area. Nearby, we view the Abrahamic Family House, a remarkable complex that integrates a church, mosque, and synagogue within its premises. As evening approaches, we visit The Founders Memorial, dedicated to honouring Zayed, the inaugural sultan of the Emirates, and featuring The Constellation, known for its breathtaking night illumination.
Day 8 - Abu Dhabi - Al Ain
Today, we head towards the remarkable oasis of Al Ain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our journey, which takes a little over two hours, carries us through sweeping sandy deserts before reaching this city of historical significance. Our first stop is at the Qasr Al Muwaiji, a fortress-turned-museum where Sheikh Zayed, the inaugural President of the Emirates, was born. We then explore the Al Jahili Fort, renowned as one of the most iconic adobe fortifications worldwide. The Sheik Zayed Museum offers insight into life in this area over a century ago. Lunch is provided as part of our visit. In the afternoon, we delve into the vast Oasis of Al Ain, enjoying a ride in small electric vehicles to appreciate its lush gardens, palm plantations, and intricate irrigation systems. Afterwards, you have free time to browse the local bazaars or unwind by our hotel’s pool. Dinner is also included, rounding off a culturally and historically rich day.
Day 9 - Al Ain - Fujairah
After breakfast, we will visit the bustling Camel Market, a lively spot primarily focused on camel trading, though you’ll also find livestock like sheep, goats, and horses. Our journey then takes us through mountainous terrain towards the Gulf of Oman. Along the way, we pause at Al Hayl Fort, located near a small oasis nestled between the mountains. Continuing to Fujairah, we will arrive with time for lunch on your own. In the afternoon, we explore this city near the Omani border, visiting the impressive Sheik Zayed Mosque—second largest in the UAE, with its towering 100-metre minarets. We will also see the adobe fortress and the Fujairah Museum, offering insights into the city’s origins. Afterwards, enjoy a stroll through the city centre. Dinner is included.
Day 10 - Fujairah - Dubai
Following breakfast, we journey along the coast to Al Bidyah to see the country's oldest mosque, dating back to the 15th century. This adobe structure stands at the foot of a fortress that overlooks the sea. We then travel to the charming city of Khor Fakkan, where you can enjoy free time relaxing on the beach. If you fancy a swim, changing rooms and showers are available, and there are delightful restaurants for lunch. Our next stop is at the ruins of an old Portuguese castle, where we can stroll by the artificial waterfall, soak in the refreshing air, and admire a vast amphitheatre with views over the sea.We continue to the Emirate of Sharjah, acclaimed by UNESCO as the "Cultural Capital of the Arab World." This city, gracefully positioned beside a lagoon, offers a chance to visit Al Noor Mosque. Revered as the most beautiful mosque among Sharjah’s 600, its Ottoman-style architecture is a visual treat. We take a leisurely walk around, photographing its surroundings and the nearby Al Noor Island, accessed by a bridge. We also explore the Sharjah Fort, now a museum detailing the history of the ruling family, followed by the Museum of Islamic Civilization, which provides fascinating insights into Arab and Islamic culture and religion. Before departing, we stop by the "Rain Room," a modern art installation where you can experience walking through rain without getting wet.We conclude our day with a journey back to Dubai, reaching around 18:30.
Day 11 - Dubai
After breakfast, our services conclude, marking the end of your journey. You are free to explore Dubai further at your leisure or head to the airport for your departure. We hope you leave with cherished memories of your experiences. Safe travels!
