Ferry to Tofino & Long Beach
Vancouver - Nanaimo - Tofino. Upon arrival in Vancouver, make your way to Canada Place before 7:15 AM, where your guide will meet you. At 7:30 AM, we will begin our journey toward Tofino, heading to Horseshoe Bay to board the ferry to Nanaimo as we sail, keep an eye out for wildlife.
Once we arrive in Nanaimo, we’ll head to the Coombs Old Country Market, located just outside of Parksville, where you can spot the famous rooftop goats. Afterward, we’ll continue to Tofino and visit Long Beach, the largest and longest stretch of sand in Pacific Rim National Park, known for its rugged beauty and crashing waves. From here, we’ll make our way to the campsite, set up camp, and enjoy a relaxing evening with time to grab dinner or unwind.

Tofino at Leisure
Today, you can choose to explore Tofino independently or book an optional activity like whale watching, bear watching, surfing, or kayaking (advance booking recommended). If you'd prefer a guided experience, join your guide for a leisurely walk to Tonquin Beach, just a short distance from downtown. In the evening, enjoy some downtime or, weather permitting, gather around the campfire for a marshmallow roast on the beach.
Please note: During the whale watching and bear watching tours, that animal vieiwing cannot be guaranteed.
Overnight: Tofino
Scenic Hike, Ancient Forests & Transfer to Vancouver
Tofino - Ucluelet - Nanaimo - Vancouver. This morning, we will pack up our campsite before heading to Ucluelet, where you can join a hike along the Lighthouse Loop on the Wild Pacific Trail. Next, we will travel to Vancouver Island to visit Cathedral Grove, a protected old-growth forest home to ancient Douglas Fir trees that are over 800 years old.
After, we will make our way back to Nanaimo and check in for our onward ferry back to Vancouver. Arriving in downtown Vancouver at approximately 9 PM where our tour will conclude. Safe travels!

All departure dates are guaranteed with a minimum of 8 persons. 'Twin/Double' prices shown are per person when there are 2 persons sharing a room. 'Single' prices are applicable to all solo travellers, or if your booking party cannot reach the minimum of 2 persons in a room. Single Rooms can also be booked by anyone wanting the comfort and privacy of their own room.
