Day 1 - San Jose
Welcome to Costa Rica. Upon arrival at Juan Santamaría International Airport, our local representative will meet you and assist with your transfer to your hotel in San José. Settle into your comfortable room and take some time to relax as you prepare for the adventure ahead. Overnight in San José.
Day 2 - Limon
We start the day early with a journey to Tortuguero, one of Costa Rica’s most remarkable natural areas. Known for its abundant wildlife and protected sea turtle nesting sites, Tortuguero National Park offers a unique experience amid lush rainforests and tranquil waterways. Along the way, we pause in Guápiles for a traditional Costa Rican breakfast before continuing to the dock. From there, we board a scenic boat that winds through vibrant tropical landscapes, providing a captivating introduction to the region’s rich biodiversity. After arriving at the lodge and settling in, we enjoy lunch before exploring the peaceful, car-free village of Tortuguero. Nestled between the beach and canals, the village offers insight into Caribbean culture and a relaxed way of life. The remainder of the afternoon is yours to unwind at the lodge, surrounded by nature.
Day 3 - Limon
After breakfast, we set off on a memorable boat tour through the canals of Tortuguero National Park. As we glide along the waterways, keep your camera ready to spot a variety of exotic birds, reptiles and mammals in their natural environment. Returning to the lodge, we later take a guided nature walk along the private trails, where an expert guide will introduce you to the region’s diverse flora and fauna. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the lodge.
Day 4 - Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui
After breakfast, we check out and begin a scenic journey combining boat and land transfers back to Guápiles, where a delicious lunch awaits. Afterwards, we continue to Sarapiquí, a haven for nature enthusiasts and birdwatchers. This region is celebrated for its rich biodiversity, offering an excellent opportunity to experience the rainforest’s remarkable wildlife. Overnight in Sarapiquí.
Day 5 - El Castillo
After breakfast, we travel to La Fortuna, the town at the foot of the iconic Arenal Volcano. Once one of the world’s most active volcanoes, Arenal remains a striking landmark surrounded by lush rainforest. Upon arrival, you’ll check into your hotel and have some free time to relax and enjoy the impressive natural setting. Overnight in Arenal.
Day 6 - Alajuela
Wake to stunning views of Arenal Volcano and spend the day exploring La Fortuna at your leisure. Whether you prefer a gentle walk or a more active adventure, we offer a range of experiences. You can hike the lava trails within Arenal Volcano National Park, visit the impressive La Fortuna Waterfall for a refreshing swim, stroll across hanging bridges to observe the rainforest canopy, or choose from thrilling activities such as whitewater rafting and zip-lining. Enjoy the freedom to tailor your day to suit your interests before returning to your hotel in Arenal for the night.
Day 7 - Monteverde
After breakfast, we travel to Monteverde, a unique cloud forest renowned for its rich biodiversity and status as a premier wildlife sanctuary. Upon arrival, you have the afternoon at your leisure to explore the charming town, relax in the cool mountain air, or choose from optional activities available in the area. Overnight in Monteverde.
Day 8 - Monteverde
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a full day at leisure in Monteverde. You can choose to experience the excitement of zip-lining through the forest canopy or stroll along the impressive hanging bridges for stunning views of the cloud forest. Alternatively, take a night tour to observe the region’s unique nocturnal wildlife. For a cultural experience, visit a local coffee farm or participate in a hands-on culinary activity to discover traditional Costa Rican flavours. Overnight in Monteverde.
Day 9 - Liberia
We travel to Rincón de la Vieja, a remarkable geothermal area known for its bubbling mud pots, volcanic lagoons and diverse wildlife. This afternoon is yours to explore the dramatic landscapes or simply relax amid the natural surroundings. Overnight in Rincón de la Vieja.
Day 10 - Liberia
Today is a full day at leisure in Rincón de la Vieja, allowing you to relax or choose from a range of outdoor activities. You might enjoy hiking to nearby waterfalls, horseback riding through the scenic countryside, or experiencing the unique volcanic mud baths. Day 11 - Tamarindo
We travel to Tamarindo, a lively coastal town on the North Pacific Coast known for its golden beaches and relaxed atmosphere. This is an ideal spot to unwind by the ocean and enjoy stunning sunsets. Overnight in Tamarindo.

Spend two full days at leisure in Tamarindo, a lively coastal town known for its golden beaches and relaxed vibe. Day 13 - Tamarindo
Spend another leisurely day in Tamarindo, enjoying the sun and surf at your own pace. Day 14 - San Jose
After breakfast, leave the coast behind and travel back to San Jose for your final night in Costa Rica. This evening is yours to relax and reflect on the remarkable experiences you’ve enjoyed throughout your journey. Overnight in San Jose.
Day 15 - San Jose
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and at the arranged time, take a shared transfer to Juan Santamaría International Airport for your departure flight. As you leave Costa Rica, carry with you lasting memories of its stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife and genuine warmth.
