Day 1 - Prague
Welcome to Prague! Upon your arrival at the airport, we will arrange your transfer to the hotel. Please check the information boards at reception for the schedule of the welcome meeting with your guide. In the evening, we will take you to the bustling Old Town Square, where you can dine at one of the many restaurants offering an array of international cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian. After enjoying your meal, we will arrange a return transfer to the hotel. Please be aware that this tour accommodates travellers joining or departing at different points along the route, but rest assured that the group will never exceed its maximum size. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Day 2 - Prague
Today, we delve into Prague, a city often celebrated as Europe's Baroque treasure. Our experienced local guide will provide an intriguing panoramic tour, pointing out the city’s most remarkable landmarks. The highlight of the day is a visit to Prague Castle, where your admission is already arranged. Following this, we'll enjoy a leisurely boat ride along the Vltava River, offering a unique perspective of the city’s stunning architecture. In the afternoon, you’ll have the freedom to explore Prague at your own pace, whether that means wandering through its picturesque streets, discovering hidden cafes, or visiting renowned museums and galleries.
Day 3 - Prague - Munich - Innsbruck
We begin our day with an early departure, venturing into Bavaria, Germany. By midday, we reach Munich, where you'll have some free time to wander around the historic city centre and enjoy lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, we proceed to Austria. Once in the heart of the Alps, you'll find yourself in Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol. This charming city offers you plenty of opportunities to explore its unique culture and stunning architecture. As the day winds down, you'll have the chance to dine in the Golden Roof area and Old Town, soaking in the authentic Tyrolean atmosphere.
Day 4 - Innsbruck - Salzburg
We start our day with a visit to the Swarovski Museum, the world-renowned home of crystals. Here, you’ll marvel at the stunning displays and discover how these exquisite pieces are crafted. After our visit, you'll have the opportunity to wander through Innsbruck's historical centre at your own pace. We then continue our journey along beautiful mountain roads, arriving in the charming Tyrolean town of Kitzbühel. Known for its premier ski facilities and the famous Hahnenkamm Race, it offers snow almost year-round. By the end of the day, we’ll reach Salzburg.
Day 5 - Salzburg - Lake Traunsee - Vienna
Today, we delve deeper into the charm of Austria. Our morning begins in Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart, where we'll wander through the city's stunning Renaissance and Baroque architecture nestled under the looming fortress. Following this cultural exploration, we set off on a picturesque journey through Austria's lakes and mountains, arriving at St. Wolfgang, a cherished pilgrimage destination.The adventure continues as we head to Traunkirchen, idyllically situated on the shores of Lake Traunsee. Here, we embark on a scenic cruise, included in your itinerary, offering views of four magnificent lakeside castles before reaching Gmunden. As the day draws to a close, we travel on to Vienna, arriving by evening to savour the vibrant capital at your own pace.
Day 6 - Vienna
Today, we'll discover the charm of Vienna with a guided panoramic tour. As we wander through the city, we'll admire its grand avenues, splendid palaces, and expansive parks, alongside the lively city centre. In the afternoon, you'll have the opportunity to explore further at your leisure, perhaps delving into Vienna's rich cultural offerings or enjoying its renowned café culture. As evening falls, we have arranged a transfer to the Grinzing district. Once a quaint wine-growing village, this area is now part of the city and famous for its traditional taverns. Here, you'll have free time to savour a meal and soak up the local atmosphere.
Day 7 - Vienna
Following breakfast, we conclude our journey, leaving you with delightful memories of your trip.
