Day 1 - Cairo
On arrival at Cairo International Airport, we meet you, assist with visa formalities and luggage, and provide a comfortable transfer to your city hotel – your first glimpses of the capital unfolding en route. After settling in, you have time at leisure in Cairo – you can relax, explore local cafés or wander vibrant neighbourhoods before the journey continues.
Day 2 - Giza - Cairo - Aswan
We make an early visit to the Egyptian Museum for a compelling window into pharaonic history, including the treasures of Tutankhamun. We then head to the Giza Plateau to stand before the Great Pyramids – the last surviving Wonder of the Ancient World – and the enigmatic Sphinx guarding the sands. We pause for a tasty serving of Koshary – Egypt’s beloved national dish – for an authentic slice of local life. In the evening, we board the overnight seater train from Ramses Station to Aswan and settle in as the Nile Valley rolls by under the night sky.
Day 3 - Luxor
We begin at the towering Colossi of Memnon – silent sentinels of Amenhotep III – before continuing to the Valley of the Kings, final resting place of Egypt’s great pharaohs, among them Tutankhamun. We step into exquisitely decorated tombs where vivid scenes of the afterlife unfold in colour. We then admire the elegant terraces of Queen Hatshepsut’s mortuary temple beneath dramatic cliffs, and explore Medinet Habu, the grand mortuary temple of Ramesses III with its towering gateways and vibrant reliefs. As evening falls, we visit Luxor Temple after dark – columns and hieroglyphs glowing in golden light.
Day 4 - Luxor
We start with a gentle felucca sail on the Nile – a traditional wooden boat offering tranquil views of Luxor from the water. We then transfer from your Luxor hotel to the vast Karnak Temple complex for an afternoon exploration of its forest of columns, sacred lake and intricate reliefs, before returning to the hotel to relax and reflect on the day’s discoveries.
Day 5 - Luxor - Cairo
We enjoy a leisurely afternoon in Luxor at a five–star hotel overlooking the Nile. You can unwind by the pool, browse lively souks, visit the Mummification Museum or take a gentle felucca ride to Banana Island. If you wish to delve deeper, you can opt to visit the Ramesseum, the Workers’ Village or the Valley of the Queens – your guide can arrange these at extra cost. In the evening, we board the seated overnight train from Luxor to Cairo and travel in comfort, with dinner and breakfast served as Egypt’s timeless landscapes slip by.
Day 6 - Cairo
We arrive back in Cairo this morning and transfer to our hotel. You have time at leisure – relax, explore local cafés or simply take in the city’s vibrant streets before the journey continues.
Day 7 - Cairo - Dahab
We travel overland from Cairo across the Sinai Peninsula to Dahab, passing dramatic desert scenery and the Suez Canal region before reaching the Red Sea coast. On arrival, you have free time to relax by the beach, explore the town or unwind at your hotel – whether you swim, dine in Assalah or stroll along the bay, the afternoon is yours.
Day 8 - Dahab
This afternoon is yours in Dahab – relax on the beach, wander the town’s laid-back streets or unwind at your hotel. You might swim, dine in Assalah or stroll along the bay at your own pace – the time is entirely yours to enjoy.

We travel from Dahab back to Cairo, crossing the Sinai region and the Suez Canal en route – a long yet scenic drive from the relaxed Red Sea coast to the bustling capital. On arrival, you have free time to unwind, drop into local cafés and soak up the city’s vibrant streets before the next stage of your journey.
Day 11 - Cairo
You have some free time in Cairo to relax, linger in local cafés or wander the city’s lively streets before your departure. We transfer you from your Cairo hotel to the airport for your flight – a moment to reflect on an unforgettable journey through Egypt as you bid farewell to this historic land.
