Itinerary
Day 1 - Athens
On arrival at Athens airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in the city. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to relax or explore independently. You might like to visit the famous flea market in Plaka, the historic old town of Athens, known for its vibrant atmosphere and charming streets. Overnight stay in Athens.
Day 2 - Athens - Delphi - Kalabaka - Kalabaka
After a hearty breakfast, we set off for Delphi, travelling through Thebes, Levadia and the charming village of Arachova, nestled on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. Upon arrival, we explore the Archaeological Site of Delphi, renowned for its ancient ruins and historical significance. Following the visit, we continue our journey to Kalambaka, passing through scenic villages and towns of Central Greece. We spend the night in Kalambaka.
Day 3 - Kalabaka - Athens
After breakfast, we visit Meteora to explore its remarkable monasteries perched atop towering rock formations, home to invaluable historical and religious artefacts. On the return journey to Athens, we travel through Trikala, Lamia, and make a brief stop at Thermopylae to see the Monument of Leonidas. We arrive in Athens early evening, where you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight or have the option to extend your stay with an additional night in the city.
