Itinerary
Day 1 - New Delhi - Delhi - Sariska
After breakfast at your Delhi hotel, we drive to Sariska – approximately 220 km, taking around four hours – passing mustard fields, roadside tea stalls and lively village scenes along the way. We arrive by midday for check-in and lunch, with Rajasthani specialities and continental options available. In the afternoon, we set out on a private jeep safari in Sariska National Park, departing at 2:00 or 2:30 pm to follow forest tracks and open grasslands in search of tigers, leopards, sambar deer, nilgai, wild boars and colourful peacocks. We return to the hotel in the evening for a relaxed dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the quiet of nature.
Day 2 - Sariska - Delhi - Alwar
Start early with a private jeep safari in Sariska National Park at 6:00 am, experiencing the forest at first light when wildlife is often more active. We return to the hotel for a hearty breakfast of fresh fruit, baked goods and hot Indian and Western dishes, then check out and drive to Alwar Palace & Museum – an Indo–Islamic landmark displaying royal artefacts, antique weaponry and rare manuscripts. We continue to Siliserh Lake – a peaceful reservoir surrounded by wooded hills – ideal for scenic photographs and a quiet pause. We then drive back to Delhi with refreshment stops along the way, ending with an evening drop–off at your hotel.
