Day 1 - Delhi Arrival & Sightseeing
On arrival at Delhi airport, our representative greets you and arranges a smooth transfer to your hotel. Standard check-in time is 2 pm – early check-in is subject to availability.
We begin with Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque and a fine example of Mughal architecture, then pay our respects at Raj Ghat, the site of Mahatma Gandhi’s cremation. We drive past India Gate – a tribute to Indian soldiers – and the President House. We visit the Lotus Temple, known for its lotus-inspired design and calm setting, continue to Qutub Minar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dating from the 12th century, and conclude at Humayun’s Tomb, a masterpiece of Mughal design and a forerunner to the Taj Mahal. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Delhi.
Day 2 - Delhi to Agra & Taj Mahal
After breakfast in Delhi, we drive 204 kilometres – around four hours – to Agra. On arrival, we check in to the hotel and take a moment to relax. We then visit the Taj Mahal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and enduring symbol of love, before exploring Agra Fort, which showcases a blend of Mughal and Hindu architectural styles. We conclude at the tomb of Itmad ud Daula, often called the Baby Taj for its intricate marble work. Later, you can browse Sadar Bazaar for jewellery, spices and souvenirs, and visit local marble inlay workshops to see artisans at work. Overnight in Agra.
Day 3 - Fatehpur Sikri, Abhaneri & Jaipur
We leave Agra for Jaipur, a journey of around 445 km/5 hours approx with visits en route. We stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing Mughal architectural grandeur, then continue to Abhaneri to see its ancient stepwell. On arrival in Jaipur we check in to the hotel. You can spend the evening exploring the city’s markets, known for traditional handicrafts and vibrant textiles. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 - Exploring Jaipur & Amber Fort
We spend the day exploring Jaipur’s highlights. We ascend to Amber Fort, set on a hill and offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, then continue to Jaigarh Fort, long the stronghold protecting Amber. Back in the city, we tour the City Palace complex and the UNESCO–listed Jantar Mantar observatory. We pause to admire the intricate façade of the Hawa Mahal – designed so royal women could observe street life discreetly – before a peaceful stroll through Sisodia Rani Garden. We end the day at the Birla Temple, dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi, then return to the hotel in Jaipur for the night.
Day 5 - Jaipur to Pushkar & Ajmer
We drive from Jaipur to Pushkar – around 145 kilometres and approximately 3 hours. On arrival, we visit Pushkar Lake with its 52 bathing ghats, followed by the Brahma Temple – one of the few dedicated to Lord Brahma. We continue to the Savitri Temple for panoramic views of the town and surrounding hills.
Later, we head to nearby Ajmer to visit the Khwaja Dargah E Sharif, a revered Sufi shrine, then see Adhai Din Ka Jhonpda – a historic mosque built on the remains of a Sanskrit college that showcases Indo–Islamic design – and the Nasiyan Jain Temple, reflecting Ajmer’s religious diversity. We return to Pushkar and check in to the hotel for the night. Overnight in Pushkar.
Day 6 - Pushkar to Delhi
Pushkar – Delhi (410 km – approx. 7 hours). We bid farewell to Pushkar and drive back to Delhi. On arrival, we check you into your hotel and you can take time to unwind. The rest of the day is at leisure – you can explore the city’s lively streets at your own pace or pick up souvenirs before your journey ends. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 - Delhi
After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, our representative will transfer you to the airport in time for your flight – a smooth conclusion to your Golden Triangle with Pushkar journey.
