Expect a rural jeep safari near Deogarh, the mighty ramparts of Kumbhalgarh, and the marble splendour of Ranakpur. Day 1 - Jaipur
On arrival at Jaipur airport, we meet you and assist with a smooth check in at your hotel. With the rest of the day at leisure, you can start exploring at the Albert Hall Museum – an architectural landmark in Indo Saracenic style with a wide collection of art and historical artefacts – or head into the bustling bazaars of the Pink City to browse handicrafts, textiles and local delicacies. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 - Jaipur
We begin in the morning at Amber Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, ascending by jeep to the hilltop entrance and exploring its courtyards and the mirror–worked Sheesh Mahal. We continue to Jaigarh Fort above Amber for panoramic views of the Aravalli hills and a look at Jaivana, the world's largest cannon on wheels. Returning towards the city, we stop at Sisodia Rani Garden – a peaceful space of fountains and pavilions associated with the story of Radha and Krishna. Back in Jaipur, we visit the City Palace and Jantar Mantar – a UNESCO World Heritage Site showcasing remarkable astronomical instruments – and pause for a view of the Hawa Mahal's lattice facade, built for royal women to observe street life. Later, you can explore Johari and Bapu bazaars for textiles, jewellery, handicrafts and spices. Overnight at hotel.
Day 3 - Jaipur - Pushkar - Deogarh - Jojawar
Jaipur – Pushkar – Deogarh or Jojawar (290 km – around 6 hours). We drive from Jaipur to Pushkar, one of India’s most sacred towns, known for its tranquil lake and the rare Brahma Temple. We visit the temple and the ghats of Pushkar Lake, where we participate in a traditional puja. You can browse the lively market for textiles, jewellery and handicrafts. We then continue to Deogarh or Jojawar and check in at a heritage hotel. In the afternoon we head out on a rural jeep safari through the surrounding countryside, meeting local communities and gaining an authentic glimpse of daily life. Overnight at hotel.
Day 4 -
Deogarh – Kumbhalgarh (85 kilometres – around 2 hours). We travel through the Aravalli hills to Kumbhalgarh, a formidable fortress renowned for its extensive walls and intricate architecture – a striking glimpse into Rajasthan’s royal past. On arrival, we explore Kumbhalgarh Fort, taking in its palaces, temples and gardens. We then discover the Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary, home to diverse flora and fauna including deer, leopards and a variety of bird species. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 - Kumbhalgarh - Udaipur - Ranakpur
We drive from Kumbhalgarh to Udaipur – around 125 km and approximately 3 hours – stopping en route at the Ranakpur Jain Temple to admire its remarkable marble architecture and the 1,444 individually carved pillars set amid the Aravalli hills. On arrival in Udaipur, the City of Lakes, we check in at your hotel overlooking Lake Pichola, where you can unwind and enjoy the views. Later, we take a boat cruise on Lake Pichola, passing landmarks including the City Palace and Jag Mandir. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 - Udaipur
We spend the day exploring Udaipur’s highlights, beginning at the City Palace – a grand complex of palaces, courtyards and gardens – before visiting Jagdish Temple to admire its finely carved pillars and sculptures. We continue to Saheliyon Ki Bari, a peaceful garden with fountains and marble pavilions, and then to the Bharatiya Lok Kala Museum for an insight into regional folk art, costumes and traditions. We visit the Ahar Cenotaphs, the historic royal cremation ground of the Mewar dynasty, for a window into the city’s past. In the old city, you can wander the narrow lanes, browse lively markets and pause at cafés to soak up local life. As evening approaches, we ascend to the Monsoon Palace for sweeping sunset views over the city and the Aravalli hills, before rounding off the day at Bagore-ki-Haveli with a mesmerising folk dance performance by Lake Pichola. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7 - Udaipur - Chittorgarh - Bundi
Udaipur – Chittorgarh – Bundi (275 kilometres – approx. 6 hours) We drive to Bundi, stopping at the vast Chittorgarh Fort complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its history of valour. We explore the highlights – the Vijay Stambh (Victory Tower), Kirti Stambh and the Meera Temple – and take in the fort’s extensive ramparts. Continuing to Bundi, we arrive and check in at the hotel. Known for its historic havelis, stepwells and lively markets, Bundi invites you to start exploring its heritage at your own pace. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8 - Bundi - Jaipur
We begin with a guided tour of Bundi, taking in Bundi Palace with its exquisite murals, frescoes and far‑reaching views. We continue to Bundi’s historic water architecture, visiting the stepwells – including the intricately carved Raniji ki Baori – and the atmospheric Nawal Sagar. We then ascend to Taragarh Fort, perched high above the town, to see its imposing gates, fine stonework and panoramic outlook. In the afternoon, we drive back to Jaipur – approximately 220 kilometres, around 4 hours – bringing your Rajasthan journey to a close.
