Itinerary
Day 1 - Bangalore
Arrive in Bangalore (Bengaluru). On landing at Bangalore International Airport, we’ll meet you and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to unwind and settle in – Bengaluru, the Garden City, is known for its leafy avenues and vibrant culture. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 - Bangalore & Mysore
After breakfast, we set out to explore Bangalore, beginning at Bangalore Palace, built by the Wodeyar dynasty in 1887 and noted for its intricate woodcarvings and Tudor-style architecture. We then wander through Lalbagh Botanical Garden, a sprawling green space with a renowned glasshouse that hosts an annual flower show. Our final stop is Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, an elegant example of Indo–Islamic architecture. Later, we drive to Mysore (145 km – around 3 hours), check in at the hotel and settle in for the night.
Day 3 - Mysore & Hassan
After breakfast, we explore Mysore Palace, admiring its architecture and artistry. We continue to the lively Devaraja Market to browse its colourful array of local goods, then visit the tranquil St Philomena’s Church, a neo Gothic landmark. We round off Mysore with a relaxed stroll through the serene Brindavan Gardens. Later, we drive to Hassan (140 km – around 3 hours), where we check in at the hotel and settle in for the night.
Day 4 - Hassan to Hampi
Hassan to Hospet/Hampi – around 330 km – approximately 7 hours. After breakfast, we explore Belur and Halebid, including the Hoysaleswara Temple. We then continue the scenic drive to Hospet or Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage site. On arrival, we check in and unwind, ready for tomorrow’s visit. Overnight at hotel.
Day 5 - Exploring Hospet & Hampi
We set out on a guided tour of Hospet and Hampi to explore the legacy of the Vijayanagara Empire. We visit Hazara Rama Temple, the King’s Balance, Mahanavami Dibba and Virupaksha Temple, continue to the Vithala Temple Complex and Lotus Mahal, and conclude at the ASI Museum. We return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6 - Hampi to Gadag Temple & Badami
After breakfast, we leave Hampi for Badami – a 195 km drive of approximately 4 hours – stopping en route at Lakkundi and Gadag Temple. On arrival in Badami, noted for its historical and archaeological significance, we check in to the hotel and settle in for the evening. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7 - Temples of Aihole & Pattadakal
After breakfast, we set out from Badami on an excursion to Aihole and Pattadakal – about 70 kilometres return. We explore the ancient temple complexes, with time at Pattadakal – a UNESCO World Heritage site – and at Aihole. We then return to Badami for city sightseeing, taking in its temples and caves. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8 - Badami to Goa
Badami to Goa – 235 km – around 5 hours. We set off on a scenic drive to Goa and, on arrival, check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure – you can unwind on the beach, take a gentle stroll along the shoreline, or simply soak up the relaxed coastal atmosphere. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9 - Exploring Goa
After breakfast, we set out on a full-day exploration of Old Goa and Fontainhas, the Latin Quarter. We visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral and Mangeshi Temple, and take time to explore the lanes of Fontainhas. Later, you can relax on Baga Beach or browse the local markets at your own pace, before we return to the hotel for the night.
Day 10 - Goa at Leisure
We begin with a relaxed breakfast, then the day is entirely yours to enjoy at your own pace – you can explore more of Goa’s captivating corners, try water sports, or simply bask on the golden sands. There are no scheduled activities today. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11 - Goa
After breakfast, we’ll arrange your transfer to Goa airport at a time aligned with your flight – bringing your journey to a close. Safe travels.
