Day 1 - Marrakech
Upon your arrival in Marrakech, welcome to the vibrant charm of Morocco! We’ll ensure a seamless transfer to your hotel, allowing you to settle in comfortably. In the afternoon, experience the unique allure of the city with a traditional horse-drawn carriage ride to the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa Square. Immerse yourself in the captivating atmosphere of this iconic square, brimming with bustling activity and local culture. A delightful dinner is included to round off your first day, setting the stage for an unforgettable Moroccan adventure. Please note: This tour may have travellers joining or departing at various points along the route, meaning group composition can change during the tour. Please also be aware that depending on group composition, guiding may be in additional languages as well as English.
Day 2 - Marrakech
Today, we will delve into one of the world's most captivating cities, Marrakech – the city that inspired the name of Morocco. Our guided tour will traverse the formidable city walls, the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, and take us through the vibrant Medina. We will also visit the Koutoubia Mosque and the opulent Bahia Palace, with entry tickets included. After the tour, you can enjoy a leisurely lunch, which is included in the itinerary, and spend your afternoon relaxing by the pool, unwinding in the hotel's serene garden, or exploring the bustling souks for a spot of shopping. In the evening, you have the option to participate in the Fantasy Party, an excursion available for an additional cost.
Day 3 - Marrakech - Ouzoud Falls - Fes
We embark on an early morning journey from Marrakech, heading towards the breathtaking Ouzoud Falls. These serene cascades, the tallest in Northern Africa at 110 metres, are nestled within the dramatic gorges of the Middle Atlas. Our visit includes a delightful boat trip that offers a fresh perspective of the falls, followed by lunch at a restaurant boasting stunning views of this natural wonder. There's also the opportunity to spot the charismatic macaques that inhabit the area. Our adventure continues as we traverse the Southern Atlas, arriving in the historic city of Fez. If time permits, we’ll enjoy panoramic views of Fez from the Marinid tombs; if not, this will be arranged for the following day. Dinner is included, concluding a day full of natural beauty and exploration.
Day 4 - Fes - Tangier
Today, we will embark on a fascinating exploration of Fez. Our day begins by entering through the Royal Palace's majestic Bronze Gates, leading us into the heart of the city. We will wander through the vibrant Jewish quarter with its animated souks before visiting the Tanners' Quarter, where traditional leather craftsmanship thrives. Fez, often heralded as Morocco's cultural capital, boasts a mesmerising Medina that retains a truly authentic Arab charm like no other. We'll wrap up this immersive experience with a delightful lunch at a historic palace nestled in the Medina. In the afternoon, we travel northwards along Morocco’s modern highways, arriving in Tangier by evening. Dinner will be included, offering a perfect end to an enriching day.
Day 5 - Tangier - Asilah - Rabat
In the morning, you will have some free time in Tangier to explore at your leisure. Later, we’ll set off south towards Asilah, a charming walled city perched on the Atlantic coast. Once a bustling ancient port and a notorious pirate haven, Asilah now exudes a vibrant and lively atmosphere. We’ll take a relaxing walk through its quaint streets, absorbing the unique blend of cultures and history. As evening approaches, we’ll continue our journey to Rabat, where a delightful dinner awaits you.
Day 6 - Rabat - Casablanca - Marrakech
Our day begins in the historic city of Rabat, where we will embark on a tour to explore its impressive landmarks. We'll visit the grand Royal Palace, the resting place of Mohammed V at his mausoleum, and the formidable Kasbah of the Udayas, all integral parts of Morocco's rich heritage. Around midday, we'll set off towards Casablanca. Here, a knowledgeable local guide will lead us on a brief exploration of the city, including an exterior visit to the awe-inspiring Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the Arab world. As the day draws to a close, we continue our journey back to Marrakech, where we will arrive in the evening. Dinner will be provided.
Day 7 - Marrakech
Following breakfast, we conclude our journey in Marrakech, taking with us a treasure trove of wonderful memories.
